SEOmonitor pricing
SEOmonitor pricing: tool plans, cost per keyword, API access, and what the EUR 99 Starter plan withholds
The short answer
SEOmonitor costs EUR 99 a month for Starter, priced on 1,000 daily tracked keywords for a single website, and EUR 299 a month for Pro, priced on 3,000 daily keywords across unlimited websites. Every extra block of 1,000 daily keywords is EUR 49. Users, exports and competitors are unlimited on both plans, the API is unlimited on Pro, and prepaying ten months buys twelve. Per tracked keyword that is about EUR 0.099 at the entry point and EUR 0.064 at 10,000 keywords, which is more than a tracker charges and less than a full SEO suite does, because SEOmonitor is deliberately neither.
Figures were read from SEOmonitor's own pricing page and its help center article on pricing in September 2026. The vendor page blocks automated readers, so the plan cards were taken from the Internet Archive's April 11, 2026 capture and cross checked against the help center text updated June 22, 2026. Where the two disagree, this page says so.

Two tracking plans, one content plan, and a price that is really a rate.
SEOmonitor does not sell tiers in the usual sense. It sells a starting configuration and then bills resources on top: daily tracked keywords in blocks of 1,000, Google Analytics and Search Console connections in sets, AI search keywords in blocks, AI articles by the piece. The EUR 99 and EUR 299 figures on the cards are the price of the smallest configuration on each plan, and the selector next to them changes the number as you move it.
That model is worth understanding before the numbers, because it explains why two agencies on "the Pro plan" can be paying EUR 299 and EUR 1,100 a month. Neither is wrong. They have different keyword counts, and SEOmonitor bills the count.
What is genuinely unlimited
Users, data exports, competitors tracked and, on Pro, campaigns and API calls. The pricing page puts four infinity signs above the plan cards for a reason: the things Semrush and Ahrefs meter, SEOmonitor gives away, and the thing they bundle, keyword volume, SEOmonitor meters. Decide which of those two shapes matches how your team actually uses a tracker.
| Plan | Monthly, from | Priced on | Campaigns (websites) | What is included at that price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | EUR 99 | 1,000 daily keywords (selector: 1,000, 2,000 or 3,000) | 1 tracked campaign | Daily tracking, top 100, both devices; daily AI Overviews tracking; all SERP features; all competitors; personalized SEO difficulty; 1 GA+GSC connection; 10 AI articles; unlimited seats |
| Pro | EUR 299 | 3,000 daily keywords (selector runs to 200,000) | Unlimited tracked campaigns | Everything in Starter plus unlimited draft campaigns, unlimited API access, native Looker Studio connector, unlimited Keyword Vault, brand mentions in AI answers, GA+GSC connections and AI search keywords as configured |
| Writer-Only | EUR 25 | 5 AI articles (selector runs to 500) | Not a tracking plan | AI content writer, article generation API, automated CMS publishing, fact checking. No rank tracking at all, listed here so nobody mistakes it for the cheap tracking tier |
The add-on rate card
These four rates are printed under the heading "Optional Add-ons" and inside the plan tooltips. They are the numbers that actually set your invoice once you move past the smallest configuration.
| Add-on | Published rate | What it means in practice |
|---|---|---|
| Daily tracked keywords | EUR 49 per 1,000 a month | Sold in blocks of 1,000, on either plan. This is the rate the whole product scales on, and at EUR 0.049 per keyword it is half the rate built into the entry configuration. |
| GA+GSC connection set | EUR 10 per set a month | One Analytics property plus one Search Console property on one campaign. Starter includes one; on Pro they are bought per client, so ten connected clients is EUR 100 a month. |
| AI search keywords (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) | EUR 19 per 1,000 a month | Weekly brand mention and citation tracking in AI answers. Pro only. Google AI Overviews tracking is separate and included daily on both plans. |
| AI articles | EUR 5 per article | Ready to publish AI content with internal links and images. Ten come with Starter and Pro; the rest are bought by the piece. |
The pricing page has a EUR and USD switch. The figures on this page are the euro figures the page printed; the dollar figure is a live conversion, so we are not quoting one that will be wrong by the time you read it. Directory sites listing SEOmonitor at round dollar amounts are converting these euro rates themselves.
The entry configuration is EUR 0.099 a keyword. Everything after it is EUR 0.049.
Because SEOmonitor bills a base configuration plus blocks, the average cost per keyword falls quickly as the list grows. The first 1,000 keywords on Starter cost EUR 99. The second 1,000 cost EUR 49. On Pro the first 3,000 cost EUR 299 and every block after that EUR 49, so a 10,000 keyword agency account works out at EUR 642 a month and about EUR 0.064 per daily keyword. The table applies the published add-on rate and labels every figure past the card price as derived.
| Daily tracked keywords | SEOmonitor plan and monthly cost | Per keyword | Serpstracker plan | Per keyword |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 250 | Starter, EUR 99 (1,000 minimum) | EUR 0.396 | Starter, $39 | $0.156 |
| 1,000 | Starter, EUR 99 (card price) | EUR 0.099 | Growth, $99 (1,500 included) | $0.099 |
| 1,500 | Starter, EUR 148 (derived) | EUR 0.099 | Growth, $99 | $0.066 |
| 3,000 | Starter EUR 197 or Pro EUR 299 (card price) | EUR 0.066 or EUR 0.100 | Agency, $249 (5,000 included) | $0.083 |
| 5,000 | Pro, EUR 397 (derived) | EUR 0.079 | Agency, $249 | $0.050 |
| 10,000 | Pro, EUR 642 (derived) | EUR 0.064 | Enterprise, quoted | Quoted |
| 20,000 | Pro, EUR 1,132 (derived) | EUR 0.057 | Enterprise, quoted | Quoted |
| 50,000 | Pro, EUR 2,602 (derived) | EUR 0.052 | Enterprise, quoted | Quoted |
Derived rows apply the published EUR 49 per 1,000 add-on rate to the card price and assume the selector prices linearly, which is how the help center describes it ("paid in batches of 1000"). Confirm the exact figure in the selector before you buy. Starter is capped at 3,000 keywords and one website, so the 3,000 row is the last one where Starter is an option. Our plans are in dollars and are not converted.
Daily means your position daily. The top 100 behind it is weekly.
The plan card says "Daily Tracking, Top 100, 2 Devices", and read quickly that sounds like a full top 100 SERP pulled every day for every keyword. The help center describes something more specific: a "daily rank refresh on your primary device via Dynamic Depth Crawling (DDC), wherever your tracked site is actually ranking, plus a weekly full top 100 crawl for competitor data". In other words the crawler goes as deep as it needs to find you each day, and reads the whole top 100 for everyone else once a week.
An earlier version of the same card, captured in November 2025, put it as "Daily Tracking for top 1-20 positions and Weekly Tracking for top 21-100 positions in Google, on both devices". The wording has changed and the mechanism has been renamed, but the shape is the same: your own number every day, the competitive field weekly. For most agencies that is the right trade. It matters if your reporting promises clients a daily view of a competitor's movement, because that view is a week old six days out of seven.
Primary device
The help center says the daily refresh runs on your primary device. The plan card says two devices. We read that as: both devices are tracked, the daily refresh is guaranteed on the one you set as primary. If mobile and desktop both need a daily reading for the same keyword, ask SEOmonitor to confirm in writing rather than assuming the card covers it. We check every keyword on the device and location you set, every day, and store the organic top 10 of each SERP on every check.
Starter is a one website plan. That single rule decides most purchases.
The help center states it without hedging: "the Starter Plan is limited to 1 campaign and 3,000 keywords, making it ideal for smaller-scale operations or individual users." A campaign is a tracked website. So an agency with two clients, or a brand with a main site and a blog on another domain, cannot use Starter at any keyword count. The jump to Pro is EUR 200 a month before a single extra keyword.
That is the opposite of how SE Ranking, Wincher or our own plans meter things, where the site count rises with the tier but the entry plan still allows several. It is not a criticism. SEOmonitor is built for agencies and prices Starter as a way in for the in house team with one site, not as a cheap way to run an agency. Read it that way and the ladder makes sense.
One conflict we are flagging, not resolving
The header of the pricing page promises unlimited API for the platform, and the help center says every tracked campaign gets API access. The Pro card, however, lists "Unlimited API Access" in the block headed "Includes everything in Starter, plus". If API on Starter is the deciding feature for you, get SEOmonitor to confirm it before paying EUR 99 and finding out.
Pro, EUR 299
Unlimited tracked campaigns
Starter is one website. Every second client, brand or domain requires Pro regardless of how few keywords it has.
Pro, EUR 299
Draft campaigns
Unlimited one day snapshots of up to 10,000 keywords each, free, for pitching. The help center calls this the starting point for building business cases before you pay for tracking.
Pro, EUR 299 (see note)
Unlimited API access
Listed on the Pro card as an addition over Starter, while the header and help center describe API as included with tracking. Confirm for Starter.
Pro, EUR 299
Native Looker Studio connector
The reporting connector most agencies need. On Starter you have CSV and Google Sheets.
Pro, EUR 299
Keyword Vault, unlimited
Store any number of keywords with monthly search data refreshes, at no per keyword cost. Useful for research lists you do not want to pay daily rates on.
Pro, EUR 299, plus EUR 19 per 1,000
Brand mentions in AI answers
ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity visibility, weekly, sold as an add-on that only Pro can switch on.
Pro, EUR 10 per set
GA+GSC connections beyond one
Starter includes one connection for its one site. Pro buys them per client.
Starter, EUR 99
Daily AI Overviews tracking
Included on both plans at no extra cost, daily, for every tracked keyword. This is the one AI feature that is not an add-on.
Starter, EUR 99
Unlimited seats and exports
Both plans. Stated on the cards and repeated in the help center. The single strongest argument for SEOmonitor over a per seat suite.
Overages are not blocked. They are billed, and they become your new plan.
This is the part of SEOmonitor pricing that no directory listing covers and that decides whether your first invoice matches your expectation. SEOmonitor calls it dynamic pricing. You pay in advance for a billing cycle at the usage you had at the end of the trial. If you then use more, the extra shows in the billing section as "Unpaid Extra Resources" and is added to the next invoice together with the advance payment for the following cycle.
Since mid 2024 there is a second step. The help center states that whenever you use more resources, "it is considered an upgrade to another pricing plan", and that is what you are invoiced from then on until you manually downgrade through the Customize Your Plan section. A one off bulk import of 4,000 keywords into a 3,000 keyword Pro account does not produce one larger bill. It moves you to the 4,000 configuration until you move yourself back.
The control for this is the Automatic Upgrade Limit under cost control, which SEOmonitor also sets automatically in proportion to your upgrade. Set it yourself before the first import. This is the opposite of Advanced Web Ranking, which simply stops fetching keywords beyond the allowance, and of our own plans, where a keyword past the cap is not added until you upgrade. Neither approach is wrong; the SEOmonitor one is the only one of the three that can raise a bill without a click.
Annual terms, as published
- 17 percent off: pay upfront for at least 10 months of current usage and receive 12 months of credits.
- Credits, not a locked plan: each cycle's minimum invoice is drawn from the credit balance, so usage can still grow.
- Roll over: unused credits carry into subsequent bills rather than expiring at twelve months.
- Top ups: if credits will not cover two more cycles, SEOmonitor issues a NET30 invoice for wire transfer or NET7 for card.
- Trial to invoice: the first invoice is based on the usage at the end of the 14 day trial.
Price history from archived captures
- Pro card: EUR 290 in June 2025, EUR 299 from November 2025.
- Daily keyword add-on: EUR 47 per 1,000 in June 2025, EUR 49 from 2026.
- Starter: EUR 99 throughout, but the selector once ran to 5,000 keywords and now stops at 3,000.
- Writer plan: card price cut from EUR 49 to EUR 25 between June and November 2025.
At 3,000 daily keywords for five clients, here is what each tool actually bills.
A five client agency tracking 600 keywords each, daily, with three people who need a login and a Looker Studio report per client, is the brief SEOmonitor is built for. The table prices that brief on every tracker we have verified this quarter. Where a vendor meters seats or gates the API, the row says what the brief forces you to buy. Every figure names when it was read, and euro vendors stay in euros.
| Tool and plan | Monthly for the brief | Seats for three people | API and Looker Studio | Read |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Serpstracker Agency | $249 | One login per account | API included; CSV export, no Looker Studio connector | Our published plan |
| SEOmonitor Pro | EUR 299 | Unlimited, included | Both included | Sep 2026 |
| SE Ranking Growth | $279 plus API add-on | 3 manager seats included, extra seats from about 14 euros | API is a separately priced add-on with no printed price | Aug 2026 |
| Wincher Professional | EUR 319 (5,000 keywords) | Multiple users from Standard | Both from Standard, EUR 89 | Aug 2026 |
| Nightwatch Professional | EUR 159 (2,500) to Agency EUR 399 (7,500) | Unlimited, per the Professional card | Both from Professional | Aug 2026 |
| Advanced Web Ranking Enterprise | $699 (5,071 daily after the 7x multiplier) | Unlimited, every tier | API and Looker Studio from Agency $279 | Sep 2026 |
| AccuRanker | $224 covers 2,000; 3,000 not list priced | Not metered at the entry tier | Read API from Expert, $764 | Sep 2026 |
| Semrush Advanced | $549 (5,000) plus two seats from $45 each | 1 included, extra users from $45 | API tied to the Enterprise quote | Sep 2026 |
| Ahrefs Advanced | $449 (5,000, weekly) plus two seats at $80 | 1 included, extra users $80 | Uncapped API on Enterprise, $1,499 | Sep 2026 |
Semrush and Ahrefs rows use the plan whose keyword allowance covers 3,000; Ahrefs Rank Tracker updates weekly on all plans and daily is a separately purchased add-on with no published price. Wincher, Nightwatch and SEOmonitor quote euros. Our Agency plan is one login per account and has no Looker Studio connector, which is a real gap against SEOmonitor for this brief and is stated as such. The wider field at other volumes is on our rank tracker cost comparison.
About the comparison table on SEOmonitor's own pricing page
SEOmonitor prints a "Real Cost of Alternatives" table pricing Semrush Pro at EUR 285, Ahrefs Advanced at EUR 430 and SE Ranking Pro at EUR 179, footnoted "as of December 2025". When we read Semrush's pricing page on September 9, 2026 there was no plan called Pro: the list price plans were SEO $139, Starter $199, Pro+ $299 and Advanced $549. The direction of SEOmonitor's argument, that per seat suites cost more once you add users and the API, holds. The specific figures are a season old and in the wrong currency for a US buyer, so check them against our Semrush pricing and Ahrefs pricing pages, which are read from the vendors in dollars.
SEOmonitor is an agency operating system with a rank tracker inside it.
Buy SEOmonitor when
- You have more people than clients. Unlimited seats on every plan is the single biggest saving against Semrush and Ahrefs, where three analysts add $90 to $160 a month before any data.
- Pitching is part of the workflow. Unlimited free draft campaigns with forecasts are a genuine sales tool, and no tracker we have priced offers the equivalent without paying for the keywords.
- Your reporting runs through Looker Studio or an API. Both are included on Pro with no volume limits, where AWR gates them at $279 and AccuRanker's read API starts at $764.
- You want AI Overviews in the daily data. It is included on both plans for every keyword, not sold as an add-on the way Semrush and SE Ranking sell prompt tracking.
- Forecasting and content auditing would otherwise be separate subscriptions. Both are bundled, and for an agency already paying for two more tools that closes the price gap.
Look elsewhere when
- You track one site and want the position, not the platform. EUR 99 for 1,000 keywords is EUR 0.099 each; the same job costs $0.066 on our Growth plan and includes 1,500.
- You have two small sites. Starter is one campaign. The second website costs EUR 200 a month in plan change before a single keyword.
- You need daily competitor depth. The full top 100 is crawled weekly; your own position is daily. If the deliverable is a daily competitor table, that is the wrong cadence for it.
- Your budget must be predictable. Dynamic pricing turns overages into a plan upgrade until you undo it. If nobody on the team owns the Automatic Upgrade Limit, a bulk import can move the bill.
- You mostly want to be told when something drops. If the job is an alert rather than a dashboard, our rank drop alerts do that from $39 without the operating system around it.
The honest summary
SEOmonitor is priced fairly for what it is: a platform where the tracker, the forecast, the content audit, the agency dashboard and the API are all inside one number, and the things other vendors meter are free. If your agency would otherwise pay for seats, an API tier and a forecasting tool, it is likely cheaper than the alternatives despite the higher per keyword rate. If you are buying daily positions and alerts and nothing else, you are paying for the operating system. Our rank tracker for agencies page sets out what we do and do not do for that buyer, and the SEOmonitor API pricing breakdown covers the developer side of the decision.
SEOmonitor pricing questions, answered with published figures.
How much does SEOmonitor cost?
SEOmonitor costs EUR 99 a month for the Starter plan, which is priced on 1,000 daily tracked keywords and one campaign, and EUR 299 a month for Pro, priced on 3,000 daily tracked keywords with unlimited campaigns. Extra daily keywords are EUR 49 per 1,000. A Writer-Only plan for AI content starts at EUR 25 and includes no rank tracking. Paying for ten months upfront buys twelve, a 17 percent saving.
Does SEOmonitor have a free trial?
Yes. The pricing page states a 14 day free trial with no credit card required and full setup support. The help center adds that the usage at the end of the trial is what SEOmonitor invoices for the first billing cycle, so trim the keyword list before the trial ends or the first invoice reflects everything you loaded while testing.
Is SEOmonitor priced in dollars or euros?
Both. The pricing page carries a EUR and USD switch, and the page as we read it printed euros: EUR 99, EUR 299 and EUR 49 per 1,000 keywords. SEOmonitor is a European company, so the euro figure is the list price and the dollar figure moves with the exchange rate. Third party directories that print round dollar amounts are converting, not quoting.
Does SEOmonitor charge per user?
No. Unlimited users are included on every plan, stated on the pricing page as "Unlimited Seats" and in the help center as "You can always add unlimited users at no extra cost." That is the main structural difference from Semrush and Ahrefs, which both meter seats. For an agency putting analysts, account managers and clients into the same tool, it is the line that makes the EUR 299 plan cheaper than it looks.
Does SEOmonitor track rankings daily?
Yes, with a depth rule worth knowing. The pricing page says "Daily Tracking, Top 100, 2 Devices". The help center describes the mechanism: a daily rank refresh on your primary device via Dynamic Depth Crawling, "wherever your tracked site is actually ranking", plus a weekly full top 100 crawl for competitor data. Your own position is read daily; the full competitor picture behind it is read weekly.
How many keywords can you track with SEOmonitor?
Starter is sold at 1,000, 2,000 or 3,000 daily keywords for a single campaign, and the help center states the Starter plan "is limited to 1 campaign and 3,000 keywords". Pro starts at 3,000 and the selector on the pricing page runs to 200,000, sold in blocks of 1,000. Draft campaigns of up to 10,000 keywords each are unlimited and free on Pro, but they hold a one day snapshot rather than daily tracking.
Does SEOmonitor have an API?
Yes, and it is one of the better reasons to buy it. The pricing page header lists unlimited API, unlimited exports and unlimited users for the platform, and the help center says every tracked campaign gets "unlimited access to your data using CSV exports, Google Sheets, and our API". The help center sets a fair use ceiling of 10,000 requests a day, 10 a second and 1,000 rows per request, the same on every plan. The Pro card lists "Unlimited API Access" among the features it adds over Starter, so if API on the EUR 99 plan matters, confirm it in writing before you buy.
What is the difference between SEOmonitor Starter and Pro?
Starter is one campaign, so one website, with 1,000 to 3,000 daily keywords, one GA and GSC connection and 10 AI articles. Pro adds unlimited tracked campaigns, unlimited draft campaigns for pitching, unlimited API access, the native Looker Studio connector, the unlimited Keyword Vault and brand mention tracking in AI answers. If you manage more than one website, Starter is not an option regardless of keyword count.
What happens if I go over my SEOmonitor keyword limit?
You are billed for it on the next invoice. SEOmonitor describes this as dynamic pricing: use more than you paid for and the extra resources appear as "Unpaid Extra Resources" and are added to the next bill, and since mid 2024 any overage counts as an upgrade to the next plan level until you manually downgrade. There is an Automatic Upgrade Limit setting to cap it. Set that before you bulk import anything.
Does SEOmonitor offer an annual discount?
Yes, 17 percent. The mechanism is unusual: you pay upfront for at least ten months of your current usage and receive twelve months of credits, which sit in the account and are drawn down each cycle. Unused credits roll into the following year. If usage grows past the credits, SEOmonitor sends a NET30 invoice for wire transfers or NET7 for card payments.
What is a GA+GSC connection in SEOmonitor?
One connected Google Analytics property and one Google Search Console property on one tracked campaign. It brings daily organic traffic, brand and non brand segmentation and keyword level traffic and conversion data into the ranking view. Starter includes one connection; on Pro they are sold in sets at EUR 10 a month each, which for a ten client agency is EUR 100 a month on top of the plan.
Does SEOmonitor track AI Overviews and ChatGPT?
Google AI Overviews, yes, daily on every tracked keyword at no extra cost. ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity visibility is a separate add-on billed at EUR 19 per 1,000 keywords a month, checked weekly, and it is only available on Pro. That is cheaper than the prompt based add-ons at Semrush and SE Ranking, but it is an add-on, so the EUR 299 headline does not include it.
Is SEOmonitor worth it for agencies?
For an agency with several people, several clients and a reporting stack that pulls from an API, yes: unlimited seats, unlimited campaigns, unlimited API and the Looker Studio connector all sit inside EUR 299, where Semrush and Ahrefs would charge per seat and gate the API behind enterprise plans. For a solo consultant tracking one site, the EUR 99 Starter is paying for forecasting and content tooling you may never open.
Is there a cheaper alternative to SEOmonitor for rank tracking?
For the tracking alone, yes. SEOmonitor is about EUR 0.099 per daily keyword at 1,000 and EUR 0.064 at 10,000 on Pro. Our Growth plan is $99 for 1,500 daily keywords, $0.066 each, and Agency is $249 for 5,000, $0.050 each, with the API included. SEOmonitor is the better buy if you also want forecasting, content auditing, an agency dashboard and AI answer tracking in the same login.
