Advanced Web Ranking pricing
Advanced Web Ranking pricing: AWR Cloud subscription plans, prices and features, and what 7,000 keywords actually buys
The short answer
Advanced Web Ranking costs $139 a month for Pro, $279 for Agency, $699 for Enterprise and $980 for Ent Plus 50k, with 10 percent off if you pay annually. The keyword counts printed on those plans, 7,000 and 14,500 and 35,500 and 50,000, are priced at weekly checks. AWR's own pricing FAQ states that daily updates consume seven times more keyword units, so the $139 plan is 1,000 keywords checked daily, not 7,000. Track desktop and mobile together and it is 500. That works out at about $0.137 per daily tracked keyword, and it is almost identical at all four tiers.
Every figure on this page was read from advancedwebranking.com on September 6, 2026. Where AWR does not publish a number, this page says so instead of estimating one.

Four tiers, one price ladder, and a keyword number that needs translating.
AWR publishes all four prices openly, which is more than several of its rivals manage. There is no contact sales wall until you go past 50,000 units. What it does not put on the cards is the unit that those keyword counts are measured in, and that single detail changes the arithmetic by a factor of seven for most buyers.
Two things carry across every tier and both are genuinely good. Unlimited projects and unlimited users are included from $139 upward, stated verbatim in the pricing FAQ as "all our plans include unlimited users and projects". For an agency adding a seat per account manager, that alone can be worth the premium over a cheaper tracker that meters seats.
The finding most buyers miss
The comparison table on AWR's own pricing page labels the row "Keywords (updated weekly)". Every headline keyword figure on this page is a weekly figure. Nothing in the plan cards repeats that, and almost no review of AWR mentions it.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual (10% off) | Keyword units (weekly) | Keywords if you track daily | What this tier unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | $139 | about $125 | 7,000 | 1,000 | Unlimited projects and users, local and mobile, AI visibility and citations, full SERP features, 1 forecast per project, shareable reports |
| Agency | $279 | about $251 | 14,500 | 2,071 | Everything in Pro plus the developer API, Looker Studio, 1 hour on demand updates, custom dashboards, unlimited forecasts, white label |
| Enterprise | $699 | about $629 | 35,500 | 5,071 | Everything in Agency plus BigQuery connector, cross project reporting, automated CSV exports, migration support, 1 to 1 training |
| Ent Plus 50k | $980 | about $882 | 50,000 | 7,142 | Everything in Enterprise plus SSO, unlimited historical rankings, the keyword research add-on, security audits, dedicated account manager |
Annual figures are the published 10 percent discount applied to the monthly rate and are labelled as derived. The daily column divides the unit allowance by seven, using AWR's own stated multiplier, and assumes one search engine, desktop only, one location and the default 5 page depth. AWR also states it will quote custom plans above 50,000 units.
AWR does not sell keywords. It sells keyword units, and six things multiply them.
This is published, and it is the single most useful thing on the AWR site. The definition, word for word: one keyword unit equals one keyword, tracked on one search engine, one location and one device, updated weekly, at a search depth of up to 5 pages. Deviate from any part of that sentence and your consumption multiplies. Here is every multiplier AWR publishes.
| What you change | Multiplier | What it means in practice |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly updates | 0.25x | One check a month. Four times more keywords for the same money, and four weeks of blindness between readings. |
| Biweekly updates | 0.5x | Two checks a month. Doubles your keyword ceiling and pushes worst case detection of a ranking fall to roughly fifteen days. |
| Weekly updates | 1x | The baseline every plan card is priced at. This is the number AWR advertises. |
| Daily updates | 7x | Seven distinct updates in a week, so seven units per keyword. This is the one that reprices the whole plan. |
| A second device | 2x | Desktop and mobile are two separate tracked entities, not one keyword with two views. |
| Each extra location | x number of locations | Three cities is three times the units. Local and national coverage of the same term is two units, not one. |
| Search depth of 10 pages | 2x | The default depth is 5 pages, which is the top 50 results. Going to 100 results doubles the cost of every keyword it applies to. |
| Google Search with AI Overviews | 2x | AWR bills the AI Overviews variant at two units against one for plain Google Search. |
| Google AI Mode | 2x | Same premium as AI Overviews, and it stacks with cadence and device. |
| ChatGPT or Perplexity | 1x each | AI assistant visibility is billed at the standard rate, so adding one is like adding another search engine. |
| Bing, Yahoo, YouTube, Amazon, Baidu, Naver | 1x each | Standard engines are one unit apiece. A keyword on Google and Bing is two units. |
What the $139 Pro plan buys under real tracking setups
The multipliers stack. Below is the same 7,000 unit allowance, spent seven different ways. Every row is the same plan and the same $139. Only the configuration changes.
| Configuration on the $139 Pro plan | Units per keyword | Keywords you can track | Cost per keyword per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekly, Google desktop, one location, 5 pages (the headline) | 1 | 7,000 | $0.020 |
| Weekly, Google desktop and mobile | 2 | 3,500 | $0.040 |
| Daily, Google desktop, one location | 7 | 1,000 | $0.139 |
| Daily, Google desktop and mobile | 14 | 500 | $0.278 |
| Daily, Google desktop with AI Overviews | 14 | 500 | $0.278 |
| Daily, Google desktop at 100 result depth | 14 | 500 | $0.278 |
| Daily, desktop and mobile, three locations | 42 | 166 | $0.837 |
Every multiplier in this table is AWR's own published figure. The keyword counts are 7,000 divided by the stacked multiplier, rounded down. A local agency tracking two devices across three cities daily, which is an ordinary brief, gets 166 keywords out of a plan advertised at 7,000.
Before you commit
Work out your unit count before you pick a tier, because AWR will not do it for you after the fact. Its FAQ states that if you exceed your allowance, "any keywords that exceed the number of available resources will not be fetched". There is no overage charge and no automatic upgrade, so the failure mode is missing data rather than a surprise invoice. You get an email at 90 percent consumption. If you would rather not do this arithmetic at all, our daily rank tracker counts one keyword as one keyword, checked every day, on every plan.
The features people actually switch for sit two tiers up.
Three of the reasons buyers shortlist AWR in the first place, the API, Looker Studio and white labeling, are not on the $139 plan. If any of them is why you are here, your real entry price is $279 and the gap is $1,680 a year. This is the same pattern we found at AccuRanker, where the read API starts two tiers above the entry plan.
There is one genuinely useful exception, and it is buried in the FAQ rather than on the cards. AWR states that white labeling is available "in the Agency plan or higher and for all yearly subscriptions". Read literally, a yearly Pro subscription at roughly $125 a month gets custom branding and reports on your own domain. That is a meaningfully cheaper route to a branded client deliverable than the $279 monthly card suggests, and it is worth confirming with their sales team before you buy.
Not published
AWR lists a keyword research add-on as an included feature of the $980 Ent Plus 50k tier, but publishes no standalone price for it anywhere on the pricing page. We are not quoting a figure we cannot verify. Ask for it in writing if it matters to your decision.
Agency, $279
Developer API
AWR states that an Agency plan or higher gives unlimited API access. Pro has none, so a $139 subscription cannot feed a dashboard you build yourself.
Agency, $279
Looker Studio
The connector that most agencies assume comes with any reporting tool. Below Agency you are exporting by hand.
Agency, $279, or any yearly plan
White label branding
Remove AWR branding, add your logo, host reports on your own domain. The yearly exception is the cheapest route in.
Agency, $279
1 hour on demand updates
Pro gets scheduled and on demand updates. The fast one hour refresh, the one you want during a migration, is Agency and above.
Enterprise, $699
BigQuery connector
For teams pushing ranking data into a warehouse alongside analytics and revenue.
Enterprise, $699
Automated CSV exports
Scheduled exports rather than manual downloads. Worth checking against your pipeline before you assume Agency covers it.
Ent Plus 50k, $980
SSO
Single sign on arrives only at the top published tier, which will rule AWR out for some security reviews below that budget.
Ent Plus 50k, $980
Unlimited historical rankings
History depth on the tiers below is not stated as unlimited on the pricing page.
Pro, $139
Unlimited users and projects
Included on every tier, stated in the FAQ. This is AWR at its most competitive and it is a real reason to pay the premium.
At weekly cadence AWR is one of the cheapest trackers on the market. At daily it is one of the dearest.
That sentence is the whole buying decision, so it is worth being precise about it. Priced the way AWR advertises, weekly, Pro works out at $0.020 per keyword per month, which undercuts almost everything in our rank tracker cost comparison. Priced the way most people actually want to track, daily, the same plan is $0.139, which lands it near the expensive end. Nothing about AWR changed between those two sentences except the cadence.
The other thing worth noticing is that AWR barely discounts volume. Per daily tracked keyword it is $0.139 on Pro, $0.135 on Agency, $0.138 on Enterprise and $0.137 on Ent Plus. You are not buying cheaper data as you climb the ladder, you are buying features. That is unusual and it is honest, but it means the standard advice to size up for a better unit rate does not apply here.

Sorted by cost per keyword checked once a day, desktop only, one location. AWR rows apply the vendor's own seven times daily multiplier to its published unit allowance. Wincher and Nightwatch quote euros to every visitor, so their figures are left in euros rather than converted at a rate that will be wrong next month. Every row names when it was read.
AWR is a platform with a rank tracker inside it. Decide which one you are buying.
Buy AWR when
- Weekly is genuinely enough. At $0.020 per keyword it is hard to beat, and a content site with a slow moving SERP does not need a reading every morning.
- You have a lot of people and a lot of clients. Unlimited users and projects on every tier is rare, and it is what makes the $279 plan defensible for an agency with a dozen accounts.
- You need coverage beyond Google. AWR tracks a very long engine list plus YouTube and Amazon, and now reports visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini responses.
- The map pack matters. Local search and maps tracking is on every tier. We record organic results only, so this is a real gap on our side.
- You want depth past the top ten. AWR reads five pages by default and can go to ten. We store the organic top 10, which is enough for most decisions but not all of them.
- Pixel position and forecasting are part of the pitch. Few trackers compute above the fold position or SEO forecasts, and AWR has both.
Look elsewhere when
- Daily is the point. The seven times multiplier makes AWR one of the most expensive ways to buy a daily position, at roughly $0.137 per keyword against $0.050 to $0.066 on our own plans.
- You need the API at entry price. Nothing below $279 has one, so a solo developer pays the agency rate for a feature the plan above their needs.
- Your budget is under $139. There is no cheaper published tier. That is a hard floor, and a small business tracking eighty keywords is buying 6,920 units it will never spend.
- You mostly want to be told when something drops. If the deliverable is an alert rather than a dashboard, most of what you are funding at AWR sits unused. Our rank drop alerts exist for exactly that job.
- SSO is a requirement. It appears only at $980, which is a long way to climb for a security checkbox.
The honest summary
AWR has been doing this since 2003 and it shows in the breadth. If you are buying a reporting and forecasting platform that happens to track rankings extremely well, the price is fair and the unlimited seats are a genuine bargain. If you are buying daily organic positions with history and alerts, you are paying roughly double what that costs elsewhere, and the plan card will not tell you until you have done the unit arithmetic. Advanced Web Ranking pricing questions, answered with published figures.
How much does Advanced Web Ranking cost?
Advanced Web Ranking costs $139 a month for Pro, $279 for Agency, $699 for Enterprise and $980 for Ent Plus 50k, read from the AWR pricing page on September 6, 2026. Paying annually saves 10 percent, which works out at roughly $125, $251, $629 and $882 a month. All four tiers carry a 30 day money back guarantee.
What is a keyword unit in Advanced Web Ranking?
AWR defines it plainly: one keyword unit equals one keyword, tracked on one search engine, one location and one device, updated weekly, at a search depth of up to 5 pages. Every plan is sold in these units rather than in keywords, which is why the number on the plan card and the number you can actually track are usually different.
How many keywords can you track with Advanced Web Ranking?
The plan cards say 7,000, 14,500, 35,500 and 50,000, and those figures assume weekly checks. Switch to daily and AWR multiplies consumption by seven, so the $139 Pro plan tracks 1,000 keywords daily rather than 7,000. Add mobile alongside desktop and it halves again to 500.
Does Advanced Web Ranking update rankings daily?
Yes, on every tier. Daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly and on demand are all available from the $139 Pro plan. The cost is in the accounting rather than the plan: AWR states that daily updates use seven times more keyword units, because there are seven distinct updates in a week against one for the weekly default.
Does Advanced Web Ranking have an API?
Not on the entry plan. AWR states in its pricing FAQ that unlimited API access requires an Agency plan or higher, which is $279 a month. The Pro plan at $139 has no developer API at all. Looker Studio integration sits on the same Agency tier, and the BigQuery connector starts at Enterprise, $699.
Is Advanced Web Ranking white label?
Yes, and the rule is unusual enough to be worth reading twice. AWR says white labeling is available on the Agency plan or higher, and also on all yearly subscriptions. A yearly Pro subscription therefore gets custom branding and report hosting on your own domain, which the monthly plan cards do not tell you.
Does Advanced Web Ranking offer a free trial?
Yes. AWR runs a free trial with no plan commitment, and states that when the trial ends your data is preserved for another 14 days while you decide. Separately, every paid plan carries a 30 day money back guarantee, refunded on request within 30 days of purchase.
What happens if I go over my keyword units in AWR?
AWR does not upgrade you or bill an overage. Its pricing FAQ states that any keywords beyond your available resources will simply not be fetched. You get an automatic email when estimated consumption reaches 90 percent of the monthly allowance, and a running consumption meter inside the app.
Does Advanced Web Ranking track AI Overviews and ChatGPT?
It does, and the pricing consequence is easy to miss. AWR bills Google Search with AI Overviews at 2 units per keyword rather than 1, and Google AI Mode at 2 units. ChatGPT and Perplexity are billed at 1 unit each. Tracking daily with AI Overviews attached is therefore a 14 times multiplier.
Is Advanced Web Ranking worth it?
It is worth it if you need breadth: unlimited users and projects on every tier, 4,000 plus search engines, AI assistant visibility, forecasting, pixel position and white label reporting. It is poor value if all you want is daily organic positions with alerts, because you are paying about $0.137 per daily tracked keyword for a platform you will mostly not open.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Advanced Web Ranking?
For daily organic tracking, yes. AWR works out at roughly $0.137 per keyword checked daily at every tier. Our Growth plan is $99 for 1,500 daily keywords, which is $0.066, and Agency is $249 for 5,000, which is $0.050. AWR is the better buy if you genuinely need weekly cadence, where it drops to about $0.020 per keyword.
What are the features of AWR Cloud?
AWR Cloud is the web-based edition of Advanced Web Ranking, and every subscription plan includes rank tracking on more than 4,000 search engines, daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly and on-demand updates, one-hour fast updates, local search and Maps tracking, desktop and mobile rankings, unlimited users and projects, competitor tracking, SERP feature, sponsored result and pixel position data, AI assistant visibility for Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Perplexity, forecasting, and scheduled reports. White label reporting is on Agency and higher or any yearly plan, the unlimited API and Looker Studio connector start at Agency ($279), and the BigQuery connector starts at Enterprise ($699).
Is Advanced Web Ranking desktop or cloud?
Cloud. Advanced Web Ranking began as a desktop program and the cloud edition came later, but the only plans on AWR's pricing page as of September 10, 2026 are the four AWR Cloud subscriptions listed here; no desktop license is offered for sale there, and AWR's own blog documents agencies migrating from AWR Desktop to AWR Cloud. Cloud checks run on AWR's servers on the schedule you choose, so nothing depends on your own machine being switched on.
Can I cancel Advanced Web Ranking anytime?
Yes. AWR states you can cancel from inside the app at any time, and the account stays active until the end of the billed period. Cancel within the first 30 days of activation and you get a full refund. Account access continues for 30 days after expiry, and data is deleted after 90 days.
