SE Ranking pricing: how much SE Ranking costs per month, per plan and per tracked keyword

The short answer

SE Ranking costs $129 a month for Core and $279 a month for Growth, or about $103 and $223 a month billed annually, with a custom priced Enterprise tier. Two things move the real number. First, the advertised keyword allowance is counted as targets, not keywords: SE Ranking's own tooltip says a keyword tracked in two search engines burns two of your 2,000. Second, white label reporting, AI search tracking and the data API are now separately priced add ons rather than plan features, and two of the three are sold on annual billing only.

Every figure below was read off SE Ranking's own subscription page on August 19, 2026. Serpstracker is a competing rank tracker and is not affiliated with SE Ranking. The section on what SE Ranking is genuinely worth paying for is as specific as the rest of the page.

The list price

What SE Ranking costs in August 2026.

Two published plans and an Enterprise tier quoted privately. Annual billing saves 20 percent. The column worth reading twice is the keyword column, because SE Ranking does not count it the way the number implies.

SE Ranking plan pricing, project limits, seats and daily keyword allowances, August 2026
Plan Monthly Annual, per month Daily keyword targets Projects Manager seats Daily AI prompts
Core $129 About $103 2,000 10 1 100
Growth $279 About $223 5,000 30 3 250
Enterprise Talk to sales Talk to sales Custom Custom Custom Custom

Beyond the headline row, Core covers 250,000 audit pages a month, 50,000 exportable rows, 10 scheduled reports, six months of historical data and 25,000 monthly research API credits. Growth doubles or multiplies most of those: 2 million audit pages, 100,000 rows, 30 reports, historical data for the life of the project and 100,000 API credits. Both plans include Google Top 100 tracking, Share of Voice, local and map rank tracking for 1,500 keywords across three business locations, and five trackable AI platforms.

How we read these prices

SE Ranking prices by region and moved its pricing page: seranking.com/pricing now redirects to a subscription page. Requested from a European address, that page returned 109 and 235 euros monthly, and 87.20 and 188 euros on annual billing. The euro to dollar list ratio is a consistent 0.845 across both tiers, which lines up with the $129 and $279 US list prices reported by independent roundups. Plan limits are identical either way, so only the currency moves.

The line that changes the decision

SE Ranking sells keyword targets, not keywords.

The tooltip next to the keyword row on SE Ranking's own comparison table reads: "Daily keywords are counted as targets: keyword x search engine. Example: 30 keywords in 2 engines = 60 targets." That single sentence is the most expensive line on the page, and almost every third party roundup quotes the 2,000 figure without it.

The practical effect is a divisor. If you track one engine, Core really does give you 2,000 keywords. Track Google and Bing for the same list and you get 1,000. Add a third engine and you are at 667. The allowance never changes, but the number of distinct phrases you can watch collapses in proportion to how thorough you want to be.

How SE Ranking's daily target allowance converts into distinct tracked keywords
Engines tracked Distinct keywords on Core Distinct keywords on Growth Core cost per keyword
1 engine, Google only 2,000 5,000 $0.065
2 engines, Google and Bing 1,000 2,500 $0.129
3 engines About 667 About 1,667 $0.194

None of this makes SE Ranking expensive. At one engine it is one of the better prices in the category, and multi engine tracking is a real feature most dedicated trackers do not offer at all. The point is narrower: the number in the plan grid is a budget, not a keyword count, and you should decide which engines matter before you decide which plan to buy. If you only ever look at Google, the honest comparison is 2,000 keywords for $129.

Two other counters work the same way and are easier to miss. Locations multiply the same allowance if you track the same phrase in three cities, and SE Ranking counts local and map pack keywords under a separate 1,500 keyword ceiling. Extra keyword packs start at about 21 euros a month on Core and about 30 euros on Growth, so overflow is affordable but not free.

What the headline price leaves out

White label, AI tracking and the API are add ons now.

This is the change that catches returning buyers. Under the older SE Ranking lineup, white label reporting arrived with a mid tier plan. On the current page it sits in an Agency Pack sold separately, and so do AI search tracking and the data API. If your shortlist was built from a 2025 review, the plan you remember does not exist and the features you remember are priced individually.

SE Ranking add on packs, what they include and how they are billed, August 2026
Add on Entry price Billing What the entry tier covers
Agency Pack About $69 a month Annual billing only White label for the platform and reporting, 30 projects, 30 client seats, unlimited scheduled reports, Agency Catalog placement, Lead Generator.
AI Search 79 euros a month Monthly, or 63.20 euros on annual 200 AI prompts, AI Results Tracker across AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity and ChatGPT, brand mention and citation dashboard.
API 39 euros a month Annual billing only 3 million research API credits, Backlinks API, Domain Analysis API.
Extra keywords From about 21 euros With the subscription More daily tracking targets without moving plan.
Extra manager seats From about 14 euros With the subscription One additional full access user.

Where we stop guessing

The Agency Pack figure is the one add on we can state in dollars, because our euro reading of 59 euros converts to roughly $70 at the same ratio SE Ranking uses for its plans, and independent US roundups quote $69. For the AI Search and API packs we only have the euro prices SE Ranking served this address, so those are what we print. We are not going to invent a dollar figure for an add on we could not load in dollars.

Stack the realistic agency configuration and the arithmetic moves quickly. Growth at $279 plus the Agency Pack at about $69 is roughly $348 a month before anyone adds AI prompts or API credits, and the Agency Pack is annual billing only, so that is a year long commitment rather than a month to month one.

The comparable number

Cost per keyword checked daily, across the field.

Plan prices are not comparable on their own, because each vendor bundles a different amount of non tracking software. The one figure that compares cleanly is what you pay per keyword per month for a position checked every day. SE Ranking does well here, and it is worth saying so plainly on a competitor's website.

Monthly cost per keyword checked daily across major rank tracking vendors, August 2026
Plan Monthly price Keywords, daily Cost per keyword Note
Serpstracker Agency $249 5,000 $0.050 Google only, one engine, no multiplier.
SE Ranking Growth $279 5,000 targets $0.056 Halves to $0.112 if you track two engines.
Ranktracker Authority $299 5,000 $0.060 Tracks Google, Bing, Yahoo and Yandex.
SE Ranking Core $129 2,000 targets $0.065 Halves to $0.129 if you track two engines.
Serpstracker Growth $99 1,500 $0.066 Google only, one engine, no multiplier.
Ranktracker Launch $39 500 $0.078 Cheapest daily entry tier in the category.
Semrush Advanced $549 5,000 $0.110 Full marketing suite, tracking is one module.
Serpstracker Starter $39 250 $0.156 Our entry tier, and our weakest number here.
Ahrefs Lite $129 750, weekly $0.172 Weekly by default, daily needs a paid add on.
Semrush SEO $139 500 $0.278 Same 500 keyword ceiling as Semrush Starter.

Read down that column and the story is not that SE Ranking is overpriced. It is that SE Ranking, Ranktracker and Serpstracker all sit in the same five to seven cent band while the two suites sit at two to five times that, and Ahrefs charges the most per keyword for the least frequent check. The multiplier is the only thing that can move SE Ranking out of the cheap band, and it only does that if you genuinely need more than one engine.

The full version of this table, with eleven vendors and the reasoning behind each figure, lives on our rank tracker cost comparison.

Where SE Ranking is worth the money

What $129 buys that a tracker cannot.

SE Ranking is a full SEO suite that happens to have a strong tracker inside it, and the suite is the reason to buy it. If you would otherwise be paying for three or four separate tools, $129 is a good number.

Google Top 100, not top 10

SE Ranking stores your position through the full top 100 for you and your competitors. Most dedicated trackers, including ours, keep the top 10 organic results per check. If you are climbing from page four and want to see the climb, that difference matters.

Multiple search engines

The multiplier exists because the feature exists. Tracking Google, Bing and other engines from one keyword list is something most standalone trackers simply do not do.

Local and map pack tracking

Three business locations, 1,500 local and map pack keywords, listing management across 100 plus directories and Google Business Profile posting. This is a genuine gap in dedicated organic trackers.

Share of Voice

An estimate of your share of organic traffic from the top 20 results for your tracked keywords, against your closest competitors. We do not compute a share of voice score at all.

Audits, backlinks and research

250,000 audit pages a month on Core, unlimited keyword and backlink research, an on page checker and a content editor. Buying those separately costs more than the plan.

AI answer tracking

Five trackable AI platforms covering AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, with source and citation tracking, sold through the AI Search add on.

SE Ranking also runs a 14 day free trial with no credit card, which is more generous than most of this category, and its acquisition of a social publishing product shows the suite is still widening rather than standing still. Cancellation is anytime, though payments are non refundable outside of service failures, so the annual billing on two of the three add on packs is worth reading before you commit.

Where Serpstracker fits

Buy a suite for suite work. Buy a tracker for tracking.

If the ranking table is the report you actually open, $129 a month for a platform whose audit, backlink and content modules sit unused is a lot of money for one screen. Serpstracker starts at $39 a month for 250 keywords checked daily in Google, per location and device, with the ten organic results stored on every check and an email alert the day a position moves.

We are deliberately narrower. Google only, organic only, the top 10 results per check. No audits, no backlink index, no keyword research database, no share of voice score, no map pack. Slack alerts start on Growth and the API starts on Agency. What you get instead is the thing SE Ranking's multiplier taxes: one price, one engine, and the keyword number on the plan meaning exactly the number of keywords you can track.

SE Ranking pricing questions

Questions people ask before they subscribe.

How much does SE Ranking cost?

SE Ranking costs $129 a month for Core and $279 a month for Growth, with an Enterprise tier quoted privately. Annual billing saves 20 percent, which brings those to roughly $103 and $223 a month. White label reporting, AI search tracking and the data API are separately priced add on packs on top of the plan.

What is the difference between SE Ranking Core and Growth?

Growth triples the projects from 10 to 30, adds two more manager seats, raises daily keyword targets from 2,000 to 5,000 and daily AI prompts from 100 to 250, and lifts the audit ceiling from 250,000 pages to 2 million. Growth also keeps historical data for the life of the project, where Core keeps six months, and adds guest links, page change monitoring and dedicated support.

How many keywords can you track with SE Ranking?

Core covers 2,000 daily keyword targets and Growth covers 5,000, but a target is one keyword in one search engine. SE Ranking states this directly: 30 keywords in two engines counts as 60 targets. Tracking Google alone gives you the full 2,000 or 5,000 keywords. Tracking two engines halves it.

Does SE Ranking update rankings daily?

Yes. The keyword allowance on both published plans is expressed as a daily figure, so positions refresh every day within your target budget. That puts SE Ranking ahead of Ahrefs, which lists Rank Tracker updates as weekly on every plan and sells daily positions as a paid per project add on.

Does SE Ranking have a free trial?

Yes, a 14 day free trial with no credit card required. The trial runs at reduced limits rather than full plan limits, covering up to 10 projects, 750 tracked keywords a day, 20 AI prompts a day and AI competitive research for up to three domains. There is no permanently free plan.

Did SE Ranking raise its prices?

SE Ranking restructured rather than simply raised. The published lineup today is Core at $129, Growth at $279 and a custom Enterprise tier. The older Essential, Pro and Business plans no longer appear anywhere on the subscription page, and features that used to arrive bundled with a mid tier plan, notably white label reporting, are now sold as separate add on packs.

What happened to the SE Ranking Essential, Pro and Business plans?

They are gone from SE Ranking's own subscription page, which now lists only Core, Growth and Enterprise. Search suggestions and a large number of third party review articles still reference Essential 500, Pro 2000 and Business 5000, so it is easy to shortlist a plan that cannot be bought. Check the vendor page rather than a roundup before you budget.

Is SE Ranking cheaper than Semrush?

Yes, substantially, if rank tracking is the job. SE Ranking Core is $129 a month for 2,000 daily keyword targets. The Semrush plan with a 1,500 keyword ceiling is Pro+ at $299 a month, and 5,000 keywords requires Advanced at $549. Semrush includes far more beyond tracking, so the comparison is only fair when tracking is the part you actually use.

Does SE Ranking include white label reporting?

Not in the plan price. White labeling for the platform and for reporting sits in the Agency Pack add on, quoted at about $69 a month in the United States and sold on annual billing only. That is a change from the older lineup, where white label reporting came with a mid tier subscription.

How much does the SE Ranking API cost?

Every plan includes research API credits, 25,000 a month on Core and 100,000 on Growth, plus MCP access and a projects API that draws on your subscription limits rather than credits. Larger volumes come from a separate API add on that starts at 3 million credits, priced at 39 euros a month on our reading and sold on annual billing only.

Can you cancel SE Ranking anytime?

Yes. SE Ranking states you can cancel at any time, but payments are non refundable except where the service was not delivered as promised or a promotion says otherwise. Since the Agency Pack and API add ons are annual billing only, treat those two as a year long commitment rather than a monthly one.

Is SE Ranking worth it?

It is worth it if you will use the audits, the backlink and keyword research, the local pack tracking or the share of voice reporting, because buying those separately costs more than $129 a month. It is poor value if the ranking table is the only screen you open, since a dedicated daily tracker covers that job for a fraction of the price.

For the counting question specifically, how many keywords you can track with SE Ranking works through the target arithmetic with worked examples, and how much a rank tracker costs explains the pricing units this category uses.
