Mangools pricing: what Mangools costs per month, per plan, and per tracked keyword

The short answer

Mangools costs $61 a month for Basic, $81 for Premium and $141 for Agency, or $37.70, $52.70 and $97.70 a month if you pay for a year up front. Two things decide whether that is good value, and neither is on the headline. First, SERPWatcher updates rankings weekly on Basic and Premium, and Agency at $141 is the only plan that checks daily. Second, tracking one keyword on desktop and mobile consumes two of your tracked keyword slots, so Basic's 200 slots cover 100 keywords if you watch both devices.

Every figure below was read off the live Mangools pricing table, the SERPWatcher product page and the Mangools FAQ on August 15, 2026. Serpstracker is a competing rank tracker and is not affiliated with Mangools. The section on what Mangools is genuinely worth paying for is as specific as the rest of the page.

The list price

What Mangools costs in August 2026.

Three plans, no free trial on the paid tiers, and a permanent free account that needs no card. Every plan now includes the whole toolset, the API and the MCP server, which is unusual in this category. The column most buyers skip is the second to last one, because it is the only column that tells you how often the ranking numbers you are paying for actually change.

Mangools plan pricing, SERPWatcher tracked keyword limits and rank update frequency, August 2026
Plan Monthly Annual, per month Paid yearly Tracked keywords Rank updates Extra seats
Free $0 $0 $0 Limited free account Not stated None
Basic $61 $37.70 $452.40 200 Weekly None available
Premium $81 $52.70 $632.40 700 Weekly Up to 3
Agency $141 $97.70 $1,172.40 1,500 Daily Up to 5

The other limits scale the same way. Keyword research runs 100, 500 and 1,200 lookups per 24 hours. SERP analysis runs 100, 500 and 1,200 per 24 hours. Backlink rows run 100,000, 500,000 and 1.2 million per month. Site analysis runs 20, 70 and 150 lookups per 24 hours. Keyword suggestions are capped at 200 per lookup on Basic and listed as unlimited on Premium and Agency. Domains are uncapped on every plan, which matters more than it sounds: you are limited by keyword slots, not by how many sites you spread them across.

Annual billing is advertised at roughly 35 percent off and the real discount is 38 percent on Basic, 35 percent on Premium and 31 percent on Agency. Mangools bills through Paddle and takes cards, bank transfer, PayPal and crypto. There is a 48-hour refund window, which its FAQ says does not apply to two consecutive subscriptions.

Why other pages quote different numbers

The $49, $69 and $129 ladder you keep reading is retired.

Search for Mangools pricing today and nearly every result on the first page quotes Basic at $49, Premium at $69 and Agency at $129 a month, with annual rates of $29.90, $44.90 and $89.90. Those were the prices. They are not the prices on the Mangools pricing table in August 2026. Mangools repackaged the product as an AIO plus SEO bundle, folded AI Search Watcher PRO into all three plans, and repriced.

Widely republished Mangools prices compared with the live August 2026 pricing table
Plan Monthly, widely quoted Monthly, live August 2026 Annual, widely quoted Annual, live August 2026
Basic $49 $61 $29.90 $37.70
Premium $69 $81 $44.90 $52.70
Agency $129 $141 $89.90 $97.70

What did not change is the capacity. Tracked keywords are still 200, 700 and 1,500. Keyword lookups are still 100, 500 and 1,200. So the upgrade you are paying roughly 12 dollars a month more for is AI Search Watcher PRO, which monitors 500 prompts across several large language models, plus API and MCP access on every tier. If you want AI prompt monitoring that is a real addition. If you came for the rank tracker, you are paying more for the same 200, 700 or 1,500 keyword allowance you would have got last year.

One more reason numbers disagree: Mangools geo-prices. The same pricing table returned euros to a European address and dollars to a United States address on the same day, and the numerals were identical in both, so a European buyer pays 61 euros where a US buyer pays $61. Check the figure in your own checkout before you commit to a year.

The line that changes the decision

Two of the three plans update your rankings once a week.

This is the single most consequential line on the Mangools pricing table and it is easy to scroll past. The row labelled "Ranks update frequency" reads Weekly on Basic, Weekly on Premium and Daily on Agency. Mangools states the same thing in three other places: the SERPWatcher entry in its own navigation menu describes the tool as "Rank tracking with weekly updates (daily on the Agency plan)", the SERPWatcher product page headline reads "From setup to weekly rankings in 30 seconds (daily on Agency)", and the same page's stats strip counts "900 k keyword SERP positions checked weekly (daily on Agency)".

So the cheapest Mangools plan that checks a keyword every day is Agency, at $141 a month or $97.70 a month paid yearly. If you are buying Mangools mainly as a rank tracker and you need to know about a drop the day it happens rather than up to seven days later, Basic and Premium are not candidates at any price. That is not a criticism of the tool, it is a question of what job you are hiring it for.

Weekly is genuinely fine for a lot of work. If you report to a client monthly, or you are tracking a slow-moving set of head terms on a stable site, seven-day resolution costs you nothing and you should not pay for daily. Weekly stops being fine when you are diagnosing. A weekly reading cannot tell you whether a position moved on the Tuesday you shipped a template change or the Thursday a core update finished rolling out, because both land in the same data point. We wrote out the trade in full in weekly versus daily rank tracking.

What the headline price leaves out

Four rules that change what you actually get for the money.

Desktop and mobile are two keywords

The Mangools FAQ answers this directly. Asked whether mobile and desktop trackings count as one, it says each tracking is separate, and that tracking one keyword for one domain on both desktop and mobile counts as two tracked keywords. That halves every headline number for anyone who watches both. Basic becomes 100 keywords, Premium 350, Agency 750. Locations work the same way, so a phrase tracked in three cities is three slots.

Basic is strictly one person

The pricing table marks Basic with "No extra seats available". Not expensive extra seats, none at all. Premium allows up to 3 extra seats and Agency up to 5. The pricing table does not state whether those extra seats carry an additional charge, so confirm that with Mangools before you plan around it. Mangools also limits simultaneous logins to two devices, and only on Premium and Agency.

There is no trial on the paid plans

Mangools does not advertise a time-limited trial of a paid plan anywhere on its pricing page, FAQ or free tools page in August 2026. What it offers is a permanent free account that needs no credit card, and a 48-hour money-back window after you pay. Third-party pages describing a 10-day trial are not corroborated by anything Mangools currently publishes, so do not build an evaluation plan around one.

A featured snippet counts as position one

Worth knowing before you compare Mangools numbers against another tool and conclude one of them is broken. The Mangools FAQ states that SERPWatcher counts a featured snippet as a regular first position, and that SERPChecker does not. Tools differ on this, and it is one of the most common reasons two rank trackers disagree about the same keyword.

The device rule is not a Mangools quirk, it is how most of this category meters. We count the same way: a phrase tracked in two cities on two devices is four tracked keywords, because each combination is a separate check against a separate result page. The reason to flag it here is that Mangools publishes some of the tightest keyword ceilings in the category, so halving them lands harder than it would at a tool selling 5,000 slots.

The comparable number

What a keyword checked every day costs at each tool.

Headline prices are not comparable across rank trackers because the plans buy different amounts of different things. The one unit that does compare is the monthly cost of having a single keyword checked every day. Below, at monthly billing rates, with every plan that cannot check daily marked as such rather than given a flattering number.

Monthly cost per keyword checked daily across rank tracking tools, August 2026
Plan Monthly price Keywords checked daily Cost per daily keyword
Mangools Basic $61 None, weekly only Daily not available
Mangools Premium $81 None, weekly only Daily not available
Mangools Agency $141 1,500 $0.094
Serpstracker Starter $39 250 $0.156
Serpstracker Growth $99 1,500 $0.066
Serpstracker Agency $249 5,000 $0.050
Ranktracker Launch $39 500 $0.078
Semrush SEO $139 500 $0.278
Ahrefs Lite $129 None, weekly by default Daily is a paid add on
SERPRobot, one bot $4.99 75 $0.067

The comparison that matters most sits in the middle of that table. Mangools Agency and Serpstracker Growth both check 1,500 keywords every day. Agency is $141 a month and Growth is $99, so the same daily keyword count costs $42 a month less here, or roughly $504 a year. That is the whole of the honest case, and it only holds if the ranking table is what you are buying. Mangools Agency also includes keyword research, backlink analysis, SERP analysis, site metrics and AI prompt monitoring, and we include none of those. Read the next section before you treat $42 as a saving.

Apply the device rule to both sides and the numbers move together, not apart: track on desktop and mobile and Mangools Agency covers 750 phrases at $0.188 each while Serpstracker Growth covers 750 at $0.132. The full table across eleven tools is on rank tracker cost comparison.

Where Mangools is worth the money

The case for paying Mangools, written properly.

Mangools has a real and defensible position, and pretending otherwise would waste your time. At $61 a month you get five tools that each replace a separate subscription elsewhere: KWFinder for keyword research with search volumes and difficulty, SERPChecker for SERP analysis with 49 metrics, LinkMiner for backlinks, SiteProfiler for site metrics, and SERPWatcher for rank tracking. Buying those capabilities separately, or buying the one suite that bundles them all at a comparable depth, costs multiples of $61.

Unlimited domains on every tier

The pricing table lists tracked keywords against infinite domains on all three plans. Freelancers and small agencies with many small sites get real value here, because most competitors meter sites as well as keywords and charge you for both.

Genuinely good interface

Mangools has spent a decade being the tool people recommend to someone who bounced off Ahrefs or Semrush. That is worth money if the alternative is a seat nobody logs into. Reviewers consistently rate it top of the category on usability and we agree.

65,000 locations, desktop and mobile

SERPWatcher supports city, county, state and DMA level tracking on both device types. That is a deeper location library than most dedicated trackers ship, ours included, and if local is your whole business it is a strong reason to buy.

API and MCP on every plan

API access is normally gated to a top tier or an enterprise contract. Mangools now includes both the API and an MCP server on Basic, which for a small team building its own reporting is unusual and useful.

The honest summary is that Mangools is priced as a light suite and should be judged as one. Judged as a suite it is good value. Judged purely as a rank tracker, the keyword ceilings are the tightest in the category and daily data sits behind the most expensive plan, which is exactly where a dedicated tracker wins.

Where Serpstracker fits

Buy us instead of Mangools only if you were buying it for the ranking table.

If you open Mangools for KWFinder or LinkMiner, keep paying for it. We do not build keyword research or a backlink index and are not trying to. The trade is worth considering in one situation: SERPWatcher is the screen you actually look at, and weekly readings are not close enough to the change you are trying to explain.

What we do

Daily Google positions for every tracked keyword, set per location and per device. Each phrase, city and device combination is its own tracked keyword, the same way Mangools meters it. Every check stores the organic top 10 behind your position, so you can see who moved past you, not just that someone did.

What it costs

Starter is $39 a month for 250 keywords, 3 sites and 1 competitor. Growth is $99 for 1,500 keywords, 10 sites, 5 competitors and 3 seats. Agency is $249 for 5,000 keywords, unlimited sites, 10 competitors, 10 seats, white label and API access. Annual billing takes 20 percent off. There is no free plan.

Alerts

Email drop alerts on every plan. Slack alerts start on Growth. Alerts fire the same day the drop is recorded, which is the practical point of checking daily rather than weekly in the first place.

What we do not have

No keyword research tool, no backlink index, no site audit crawler, no AI prompt monitoring. No share of voice or visibility score. We track Google organic only, so no Bing, no map pack and no marketplace rankings. If you need any of those, a suite is the right purchase and this page has told you what Mangools charges for one.

Mangools pricing questions

Questions people ask before they subscribe.

How much does Mangools cost?

Mangools costs $61 a month for Basic, $81 for Premium and $141 for Agency at monthly billing. Paying for a year up front brings that to $37.70, $52.70 and $97.70 a month, billed as $452.40, $632.40 and $1,172.40. There is also a permanent free account that does not need a credit card.

How much does Mangools cost per month?

The cheapest paid Mangools plan is Basic at $61 per month. That includes all five tools, the API and the MCP server, 200 tracked keywords and 100 keyword research lookups per 24 hours. It is a single-user plan with no extra seats available, and its rankings update weekly rather than daily.

Does Mangools update rankings daily?

Only on the Agency plan. The Mangools pricing table lists rank update frequency as Weekly on Basic, Weekly on Premium and Daily on Agency, and the SERPWatcher product page repeats the same qualifier in three separate places. So the cheapest Mangools plan that checks a keyword every day is Agency at $141 a month, or $97.70 a month paid annually.

How many keywords can you track with Mangools?

Basic tracks 200, Premium 700 and Agency 1,500, across an unlimited number of domains. Those figures halve if you track both device types, because Mangools counts one keyword on desktop and mobile as two tracked keywords. Locations meter the same way, so the same phrase in three cities is three slots.

Does Mangools have a free trial?

Mangools does not advertise a trial of a paid plan on its pricing page, FAQ or free tools page in August 2026. It offers a permanent free account that requires no credit card, and a 48-hour money-back guarantee after you subscribe. Some third-party pages describe a 10-day trial, but nothing Mangools currently publishes corroborates that.

Is Mangools worth it?

It is worth it if you will use KWFinder, LinkMiner, SERPChecker and SiteProfiler as well as the rank tracker, because five capable tools for $61 a month is good value against any full suite. It is poor value if rank tracking is the only job, since 200 weekly-checked keywords is the tightest entry allowance in the category.

What is the difference between Mangools Basic and Premium?

Premium costs $20 more a month and raises tracked keywords from 200 to 700, keyword and SERP lookups from 100 to 500 per 24 hours, backlink rows from 100,000 to 500,000, and site analysis from 20 to 70 lookups. It also unlocks up to 3 extra seats where Basic allows none. Rank updates stay weekly on both.

Why is Mangools pricing different from what I read elsewhere?

Because the plans were repriced. Most pages still quote Basic $49, Premium $69 and Agency $129, with annual rates of $29.90, $44.90 and $89.90. Mangools repackaged the product as an AIO plus SEO bundle including AI Search Watcher PRO, and the live table now reads $61, $81 and $141. Mangools also geo-prices, so the currency symbol changes with your location.

Do desktop and mobile count as two keywords in Mangools?

Yes. The Mangools FAQ states that each tracking is separate, and that tracking one keyword for one domain on both desktop and mobile counts as two tracked keywords. In practice that means Basic covers 100 phrases across both devices, Premium 350 and Agency 750.

How many users can use a Mangools account?

Basic is a single-user plan and the pricing table states no extra seats are available on it. Premium allows up to 3 extra seats and Agency up to 5. Mangools also supports simultaneous logins from two devices, and only on the Premium and Agency plans. Whether extra seats carry a separate charge is not stated on the pricing page.

Can you cancel Mangools at any time?

Yes. Mangools states you may upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from your account, and that a cancelled account stays upgraded until the end of the prepaid period. Refunds are limited to a 48-hour window after payment, and its FAQ notes the refund does not apply to two consecutive subscriptions.

Is Mangools cheaper than Semrush or Ahrefs?

Substantially, on the headline. Mangools Basic is $61 a month against $139 for the cheapest Semrush plan and $129 for the cheapest Ahrefs plan that includes rank tracking. The gap narrows on depth: Semrush Position Tracking checks daily on every plan, while Mangools checks weekly below Agency and Ahrefs checks weekly by default on all plans.

For the keyword ceiling question specifically, how many keywords you can track with Mangools works through the device and location math with examples, and how much a rank tracker costs explains the pricing units this category uses.
