The short answer
SEO PowerSuite costs $349 a year for Professional, $599 for Enterprise and $899 for Max, billed annually with no monthly option, and the standalone Rank Tracker license is $179 or $419 a year. Every paid plan tracks unlimited keywords, which is the real bargain. The two things the price does not tell you: Professional cannot export or email a single report (it prints, with watermarks), and every ranking check runs from the computer the software is installed on, so a laptop that is off produces no data. Refunds are not issued for unused time.

Link-Assistant shows each plan with a struck-through list price ($60, $140 and $200 a month), a discounted per-month figure, and the total you are charged up front. The struck-through figure is not a price anyone pays; the pricing FAQ states that you will be billed annually for the plan you purchase. So the honest way to read the cards is the up-front total, and that is how the table below is laid out.
All three tiers share the same core allowance and it is unusually generous: unlimited projects, unlimited tracked keywords, whole-site crawling, unlimited backlink analysis, a keyword database Link-Assistant sizes at 216 million terms and a backlink index it sizes at 6.5 trillion links, plus Google AI Overviews tracking on every plan including Free. What changes between tiers is competitors per project, and what you are allowed to do with the data once you have it.
The finding most buyers miss
On the feature grid, the Printing reports row reads "With watermarks" for Professional, while saving reports as PDF or HTML, emailing them, scheduling them and exporting data to CSV or SQL all start at Enterprise. For a freelancer with even one client, the $349 plan is a $599 plan.

Per-month figures in brackets are the vendor's own, and are the term total divided by its months. The two-year and three-year amounts are charged in full at purchase. Older reviews quoting $299 and $499 describe a previous price list; the current cards read $349, $599 and $899.
The discount depends on the tier as much as the term, and Enterprise gets the least.
The cards present each longer term as a bigger saving, and it is, but the size of the saving varies more between tiers than the presentation suggests. We divided every multi-year total by the equivalent number of one-year purchases. Enterprise on a two-year term saves less than seven percent, which is a small reward for committing $1,118 to software you cannot get refunded.

Coupon sites advertising 70 to 79 percent off "lifetime" SEO PowerSuite deals are describing something that does not appear on the vendor's pricing page as of September 10, 2026; the largest published saving is the three-year Professional term.
The cheaper door: Rank Tracker sold on its own
If the ranking module is the only one you would open, Link-Assistant sells it separately, and most pricing roundups skip this. The standalone license carries the same edition rules as the suite: Free cannot save, Professional prints with watermarks, and Enterprise is where exports and scheduled report emails live.

Before you commit
Run the Free edition for a week before paying anything, because the refund policy is among the strictest we have read (Ahrefs refunds nothing in general, and Ranktracker offers none during its current promotion): Link-Assistant states it cannot issue refunds for partial use of service or the amount of time left in your subscription. A three-year Enterprise purchase is $1,377 committed on day one. If the deciding question is whether a desktop scheduler will fit your working day, a week of actually running it answers it better than any review, including this one.
Unlimited keywords are cheap because your computer does the checking.
Every cloud tracker prices per keyword because every check costs the vendor a server request. SEO PowerSuite can offer unlimited keywords at $349 because the request comes from the machine you installed it on. That is not a criticism; it is the business model, and for a lot of buyers it is a good trade. It just has three consequences worth pricing before you compare $29.10 a month with anything else.
First, the scheduler only fires while the program can run, so daily history has gaps on the days the machine was off. Second, checking thousands of keywords takes real wall-clock time on your hardware every day. Third, there is no alert waiting for you when a keyword drops overnight, because nothing ran overnight unless you left it running. The thing Link-Assistant calls SEO PowerSuite Cloud is storage for projects and shared reports, not a hosted check.
We priced the alternative honestly rather than flatteringly. Below is what unlimited desktop tracking costs against the cloud trackers we have verified, at three keyword counts. At 1,000 and 5,000 keywords SEO PowerSuite is cheaper on the invoice, often dramatically; at 250 keywords our yearly Starter plan costs less. The column that changes the answer is the last one.
Where desktop wins outright
A solo SEO tracking 3,000 keywords weekly for their own sites, who is at the desk anyway, pays $349 a year here, or $179 for Rank Tracker alone. The closest cloud price is Ranktracker Launch, which covers 3,500 weekly keywords for $374.40 a year billed annually, so the saving is real but modest; checking the same 3,000 keywords daily in the cloud starts at about $1,500 a year. If that is you, buy Professional, skip the multi-year term until you have used it for twelve months, and stop reading.

Annual figures are twelve times the published monthly price unless the vendor sells a yearly rate, in which case the yearly rate is used and labelled. A very cheap toolkit for someone at a desk. A poor tracker for someone who wants to be told.
Buy SEO PowerSuite when
- You track a lot of keywords for your own sites. Unlimited keywords for $349 a year has no cloud equivalent, and if the sites are yours nobody needs an exported report.
- You want audits and backlinks in the same purchase. WebSite Auditor and SEO SpyGlass are real tools, and the bundle undercuts every suite subscription we have priced, including Moz and Semrush.
- Weekly readings are enough and you are at the desk anyway. A content site with a slow SERP does not need a reading every morning, and a Monday run fits a Monday routine.
- Your data must stay on your own hardware. Projects live on your own computer unless you choose to sync them to SEO PowerSuite Cloud or Dropbox, which some clients and some sectors require.
- You need an engine we do not cover. Rank Tracker checks hundreds of search engines including Bing and Yahoo, with local, mobile and universal results. Serpstracker records Google organic results only.
Look elsewhere when
- You want a history that fills itself in. Daily readings with no gaps need a machine that never sleeps or a server that is not yours. Our daily rank tracker is the second option.
- The deliverable is an alert, not a dashboard. Nothing in SEO PowerSuite emails you because a position fell overnight, because nothing ran overnight. Rank drop alerts are the whole point of a hosted check.
- You have clients. Professional cannot export, save or email a report, so your real entry price is Enterprise at $599, or $419 for Rank Tracker alone.
- You need an API. The pricing page lists none. Data leaves the program as CSV, SQL or HTML files on Enterprise, not by request from your own system.
- You might change your mind. No refunds for unused time, and the discounts push you toward two and three year commitments before you know whether the desktop model fits.
The honest summary
Priced as a toolkit, SEO PowerSuite is hard to beat and the unlimited keywords are real. Priced as a rank tracker, the $349 figure hides two upgrades: the $250 step to Enterprise the moment you need to export or email anything, and the always-on computer the schedule depends on. Is SEO PowerSuite free?
There is a Free edition that never expires, and it runs the same four programs, but it cannot save projects or run scheduled checks. Every ranking check, audit and backlink pull is lost when you close the program, which makes it a demo rather than a working tracker. Link-Assistant describes it as free for unlimited evaluation, and that is the right way to read it.
How much does Rank Tracker by SEO PowerSuite cost on its own?
The standalone Rank Tracker license is $179 a year for Professional and $419 a year for Enterprise, against $349 and $599 for the full suite. If rankings are the only module you would open, the standalone Professional license is the cheapest paid door into Link-Assistant, and it carries the same 5 competitor limit and watermarked printing as the suite version.

Enterprise adds the things a client-facing business needs and Professional withholds: saving and emailing reports as PDF or HTML, white-label report templates, scheduled report delivery, one-click report sharing, data export in CSV, SQL and HTML, 40 competitors per project instead of 5, and priority support. Professional can only print reports, with watermarks. The gap is $250 a year.
Does SEO PowerSuite offer a discount?
The only discounts on the vendor page are for term length. Two-year prepayment cuts Professional by 20 percent, Enterprise by about 7 percent and Max by about 17 percent; three-year prepayment cuts them by about 32, 23 and 28 percent. Coupon sites advertising 70 percent or more off a lifetime deal are not describing a price on the vendor page as of September 10, 2026.
Is SEO PowerSuite a subscription or a one-time purchase?
A subscription. It used to be sold as a perpetual license with a paid search-algorithm-updates plan, and older reviews still describe it that way. The pricing page now says plainly that you will be billed annually for the plan you purchase, and the two-year and three-year options are prepaid subscriptions, not lifetime licenses.
Can I get a refund on SEO PowerSuite?
Not for time you have already paid for. The pricing FAQ states that you can cancel your subscription at any time but that Link-Assistant cannot issue refunds for partial use of service or the amount of time left in your subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal through your 2Checkout account or by contacting support. Test the Free edition first, because the money is committed at purchase.
Does SEO PowerSuite Rank Tracker update rankings daily?
It can, on a schedule you set, but only while the computer it is installed on is switched on and the program can run. Rank Tracker is desktop software for Windows, macOS and Linux. Its scheduler will check daily, weekly, monthly or on a custom date, and Link-Assistant's CAPTCHA-free query processing is included on every paid license (the Free edition has neither the scheduler nor the query system). The check still originates from your machine, so a laptop closed for the weekend produces no readings for the weekend.
Does SEO PowerSuite really track unlimited keywords?
Yes, on every paid plan, and that is the genuine bargain in the product. There is no keyword cap, no project cap and no per-check credit. The practical limit is time: each keyword is fetched from your own machine, so tracking thousands of keywords daily means the program runs for a long time every day on a computer that has to stay on.
Is SEO PowerSuite cloud-based?
No. The four programs install locally. The thing Link-Assistant calls SEO PowerSuite Cloud is storage for saved projects and shared reports, 20 projects on Professional and 400 projects with 4,000 reports on Enterprise and Max, not a hosted tracker that checks rankings for you. If nothing runs on your machine, nothing gets checked.
Is SEO PowerSuite worth it?
For a solo SEO or small in-house team that will run the program regularly and wants unlimited keywords, audits and backlink data for $349 a year, it is one of the cheapest complete toolkits sold. It is poor value if what you actually need is a ranking history that fills itself in every morning with alerts when a position drops, because that requires a machine that never sleeps and an Enterprise license before anything can be exported or emailed.
