WebCEO pricing
WebCEO pricing: plans, review and alternative, and why rank tracking is weekly on every fixed plan
The short answer
WebCEO costs $36 a month for Solo (100 keywords), $119 for Startup (750 keywords, 5 projects) and $299 for Corporate (2,400 keywords, 30 projects), about 16 percent less paid annually. Agency Unlimited is $99 plus usage: $2 per project, $4 per 1,000 rank queries, $5 per extra user. The catch for anyone buying it as a rank tracker: Solo, Startup and Corporate scan rankings weekly. Daily scanning is only on the metered Agency plan.
Every figure here was read from WebCEO's own pricing page and its presales FAQ, in US dollars. Where WebCEO leaves something unstated, this page says so rather than guessing.

Three fixed plans, one metered plan, and the column most reviews skip.
WebCEO sells two different kinds of subscription on the same page. Solo, Startup and Corporate are fixed: one monthly price, a keyword allowance, a project allowance, and WebCEO's own promise that "no additional charges are possible". Agency Unlimited is the opposite. It has a $99 base fee and then bills what you use, which is why the directories that list it as "$99 a month" are quoting the smallest possible invoice, not a typical one.
The column most WebCEO reviews leave out is scanning frequency. It sits in the detailed comparison under the plan cards, and it changes what the fixed plans are worth to anyone who reports rankings to a client or a boss.
What the fixed plans include for free
Every plan carries local rank tracking, Google Analytics, Ads and Search Console integration, keyword research, a page speed test, automatic report emailing and email alerts at no extra charge. WebCEO is a suite first and a tracker second, and the price buys the whole kit.
| Plan | Monthly | Paid annually | Projects, users, keywords | Rank depth | Automated rank scans |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solo | $36 (3 month minimum) | $32/mo | 1 project, 1 user, 100 keywords | Top 50 | Weekly |
| Startup | $119 | $99/mo | 5 projects, 5 extra users, 750 keywords | Top 50 | Weekly, manual check any time |
| Corporate | $299 | $251/mo | 30 projects, 10 extra users, 2,400 keywords | Top 50 | Weekly, manual check any time |
| Agency Unlimited | $99 base plus usage | $83/mo base | Unlimited projects ($2 each), unlimited users ($5 each), unlimited keywords ($4 per 1,000 rank queries) | Up to Top 100 | Daily |
The Agency Unlimited rate card
WebCEO publishes every usage rate, which is more than most metered vendors do. These are the lines that turn the $99 base into the real monthly bill.
| Item | Published rate | What it means in practice |
|---|---|---|
| Base subscription | $99/mo ($83 paid annually) | Covers audits, reports and every scan except rankings and backlinks |
| Active project | $2 per project per month | Twenty client sites add $40 |
| Rank queries | $4 per 1,000 | Keyword x location x device x results pages x scans per month |
| Extra user | $5 per user per month, first month free | Ten people add $50 |
| White label tools on your domain | $40/mo | Separate from branded reports, which are included |
| Backlinks found | $0.80 per 1,000 | Minor for most sites, noticeable for large link profiles |
| Content assistant keywords | $0.10 per keyword or phrase | Only if you use the content tool |
| Quick Domain Analysis | 3 free reports a day, then $0.25 each | Batch competitor metrics |
| SEO leads | $0.49 per lead | The audit widget you put on your own site |
WebCEO rank tracking cost, per keyword and per 1,000 checks.
Per keyword, the fixed plans look reasonable: Corporate works out to $0.125 a keyword a month. But a keyword scanned weekly is checked about 4.3 times a month, and one scanned daily is checked about 30 times. Price the checks rather than the keywords and the fixed plans turn out to be the most expensive way to get ranking data in this table, while the metered plan is fair per check but adds up fast at agency volume.
| Plan | Monthly | Keywords and cadence | Per keyword a month | Per 1,000 checks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| WebCEO Solo | $36 | 100, weekly | $0.360 | $83.08 |
| WebCEO Startup | $119 | 750, weekly | $0.159 | $36.62 |
| WebCEO Corporate | $299 | 2,400, weekly | $0.125 | $28.75 |
| WebCEO Agency Unlimited, rank fee only | $4 per 1,000 queries | Any, daily | $0.12 per keyword per device per location | $4.00 plus base, projects and users |
| Advanced Web Ranking Pro | $139 | 7,000 weekly units, 1,000 daily keywords | $0.139 daily | $4.63 |
| Serpstracker Growth | $99 | 1,500, daily | $0.066 | $2.20 |
| Serpstracker Agency | $249 | 5,000, daily | $0.050 | $1.66 |
Weekly plans are counted at 52 scans a year (4.33 a month), daily plans at 30 a month, one location and one device per keyword, monthly list prices. Advanced Web Ranking figures come from its own keyword unit formula, where a daily keyword uses seven units.
Why weekly matters more than the price.
A weekly scan means a ranking drop that happens on Tuesday can sit unseen until the following Monday. On a money keyword that is six days of lost leads before anyone knows to look, and the weekly chart smooths over the volatility you would need to connect the drop to a Google update or a site release. WebCEO's answer is the manual rank check, which is available any time on the fixed plans. It works, but it depends on somebody remembering to press it.
If you already know the weekly rhythm suits you, because you report monthly and the sites are stable, the fixed plans are fine and the extra tools make them a fair deal. If you need a daily record, the choice is between WebCEO's metered plan and a dedicated daily rank tracker.
The formula, verbatim
"A rank query is a keyword x a location x a device x number of search results pages x rank scans frequency per month. It's $4 for 1,000 rank queries."
WebCEO does not say how many results make one "page" in that formula. If a Top 100 scan counts as ten pages of ten, the rank fee for deep tracking is ten times the one page figure used below. Run your real list through WebCEO's budget calculator before you commit.
What WebCEO Agency Unlimited costs a month for 250 to 5,000 daily keywords.
These are the four briefs we see most from agencies shopping for a tracker. Each assumes one location, one device and one results page per keyword, the cheapest way the formula can be read, and leaves out extra users and white label so the comparison stays like for like.
| Brief | Rank queries a month | WebCEO daily | WebCEO weekly | Serpstracker, daily |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 250 keywords, 3 sites | 7,500 daily | $135 | $109 | $39 Starter |
| 750 keywords, 5 sites | 22,500 daily | $199 | $122 | $99 Growth |
| 1,500 keywords, 10 sites | 45,000 daily | $299 | $145 | $99 Growth |
| 5,000 keywords, 25 sites | 150,000 daily | $749 | $236 | $249 Agency, API included |
WebCEO totals are $99 base, plus $2 per project, plus $4 per 1,000 rank queries, monthly billing.
The metered plan is fair per check
At $4 per 1,000 queries WebCEO charges less per check than its own fixed plans, and less than Advanced Web Ranking. The base fee is what makes small briefs expensive: at 250 keywords it is 73 percent of the bill.
Weekly on the metered plan beats Startup
Tracking 750 keywords weekly across 5 sites on Agency Unlimited comes to about $122, three dollars more than Startup, and it adds Top 100 depth, the API and uncapped users. If you are on Startup for rank tracking, price this first.
A second device doubles it
The formula multiplies by device and by location. A 1,500 keyword brief on desktop and mobile is 90,000 queries, $360 in rank fees alone. Most agency briefs need both devices, so model with them.
A WebCEO review from a tracker vendor, so read the concessions first.
We sell a rank tracker, and WebCEO sells a toolkit that includes one. On everything outside rankings WebCEO does things we do not do at all, and it would be dishonest to price it as though the audit, backlink and lead tools were free padding.
Site audit and backlinks in the same login
Startup audits 5,000 pages and analyzes 10,000 backlinks; Corporate 150,000 pages and 180,000 backlinks. We run no crawler and hold no link index.
Branded reports from Startup up
Reports carry your logo on Startup, Corporate and Agency Unlimited, and the $40 add-on moves the whole toolset onto your own domain. We export CSV from Growth and offer the API on Agency; there is no branded PDF and no share link.
SEO lead generation
An audit widget you embed on your agency site produces prospect reports, five a day on the fixed plans or $0.49 each on Agency Unlimited. A genuine sales tool for small agencies.
Google Business Profile locations
Three per project on Startup, five on Agency Unlimited, twenty on Corporate. We track organic results only, not the map pack.
Users on the fixed plans
Five extra users on Startup and ten on Corporate at no charge, which beats the per seat pricing of the large suites.
A trial with no card
Fourteen days, no credit card, no automatic conversion. You can test the rank tracker on your real keywords at zero risk.
Who should buy WebCEO, and who should buy a tracker instead.
Buy WebCEO if you are a small agency or an in house marketer who wants audits, backlinks, branded reports and a lead widget under one bill, and weekly rankings are enough. Corporate at $299 for 30 projects and 2,400 keywords is a sensible all in one package on those terms.
Buy a dedicated tracker if daily positions are the reason you are shopping. You get a daily record, drop alerts the same day and a fixed price, without the metered bill. Serpstracker checks every keyword daily on every plan: $39 for 250 keywords, $99 for 1,500 and $249 for 5,000 with the API. It is Google organic only, it stores the top 10 per check, and it has no audit or backlink tools, so it pairs with a suite rather than replacing one.

WebCEO pricing questions, answered from the vendor's own page.
How much does WebCEO cost?
WebCEO costs $36 a month for Solo (one project, 100 keywords, three month minimum), $119 a month for Startup (5 projects, 750 keywords) and $299 a month for Corporate (30 projects, 2,400 keywords). Agency Unlimited is $99 a month plus usage: $2 per active project, $4 per 1,000 rank queries and $5 per extra user. Paying annually takes about 16 percent off every plan.
Does WebCEO have a free trial?
Yes, 14 days, and no credit card is asked for. The pricing page states the trial "does not require supplying your credit card details", so nothing converts to a paid plan on its own; you upgrade manually. That makes it a low risk way to test the rank tracker on your own keywords before you pick between the fixed plans and the metered Agency Unlimited plan.
Does WebCEO track rankings daily?
Only on Agency Unlimited. The comparison table on the pricing page lists "Weekly automated scanning" for Solo, Startup and Corporate, and "Daily automated scanning" only for Agency Unlimited. The fixed plans do allow a manual rank check at any time, but the automatic history you report from is weekly unless you move to the metered plan and pay per rank query.
What is a rank query in WebCEO?
It is WebCEO's billing unit on Agency Unlimited. The pricing FAQ defines it as "a keyword x a location x a device x number of search results pages x rank scans frequency per month", priced at $4 per 1,000. One keyword checked daily on one location and one device for one results page is about 30 rank queries a month, or $0.12. Add a second device or a second city and the count doubles.
How many keywords can you track with WebCEO?
Solo tracks 100, Startup 750, Corporate 2,400 and Agency Unlimited has no cap because it bills per rank query instead. WebCEO counts a keyword and search engine combination as one keyword, so the same phrase tracked on Google California desktop, Google California mobile and Yahoo USA uses three slots, a rule stated in the pricing page FAQ.
How deep does WebCEO check rankings?
Solo, Startup and Corporate check the Top 50 results. Agency Unlimited checks "up to Top-100 results". Depth matters for new sites and for keywords you have not cracked yet, because a page sitting at position 70 shows as unranked on a Top 50 plan. It also matters on Agency Unlimited, where the number of results pages scanned is one of the factors in the rank query price.
Does WebCEO charge per user?
On the fixed plans, no. Startup includes 5 extra users and Corporate 10 at no extra cost. Solo is a single user plan. Agency Unlimited allows unlimited users at $5 a month each, with the first month free, so a ten person agency adds $50 a month to the base $99.
Does WebCEO offer white label reports?
Yes. Branded reports are included on Startup, Corporate and Agency Unlimited. Running the whole toolset on your own domain, which WebCEO calls white label SEO tools, is a separate $40 a month option and is only listed on Agency Unlimited. Solo has neither.
Does WebCEO have an API?
The pricing table lists "SEO tools API, Full functionality" as an Agency Unlimited feature, and it does not appear on the Solo, Startup or Corporate columns. If you need to pull rankings into your own dashboards or a warehouse, budget for Agency Unlimited and its rank query fees rather than Corporate.
Can I cancel WebCEO at any time?
Yes. You can switch off auto renewal on a recurring subscription whenever you like, and the account drops to read only mode when the paid term ends. If you change plans part way through a term, WebCEO credits the unused amount to your account balance and applies it to the new invoice. The page does not describe cash refunds, so plan on credit, not money back.
Is WebCEO worth it?
It is good value if you want an all in one toolkit (site audit, backlinks, rank tracking, branded reports and SEO lead widgets) and weekly rankings are enough. It is poor value if daily positions are the main reason you are buying, because daily scanning only exists on the metered plan, where 1,500 keywords tracked daily cost about $299 a month before users and white label.
What is the best WebCEO alternative for rank tracking?
It depends on why you are leaving. For daily tracking at a fixed price, Serpstracker checks every keyword daily on every plan: $99 for 1,500 keywords, $249 for 5,000 with the API. For deep rank data with maps and AI answer tracking, Advanced Web Ranking starts at $139 with unlimited users. For a suite with daily tracking built in, look at SE Ranking or Semrush.
