RankWatch costs $29 a month for 250 keywords a day, $99 for 1,500 and $449 for 7,500, with 10 percent off on annual billing. It packs a lot into those plans: unlimited projects and users, city tracking, backlinks, a site auditor and white label reports. The catch is that it counts every search engine and location as another keyword. If you only need daily Google positions, SerpsTracker tracks 1,500 keywords for $49.50 a month on yearly billing and 5,000 for $124.50.

RankWatch pricing by plan, and what each daily keyword costs.
RankWatch sells three fixed plans and a custom builder. The plan names on the page are Medium, Large and Extra Large, although its own FAQ still calls them M, L and XL. All three list both a daily and a weekly rank refresh, and the keyword figure is quoted per day. Here is what the page shows, with the cost of one tracked keyword worked out from it.

Every plan also includes, in RankWatch's words, unlimited projects and users, AI powered insights, customizable automated reports, real time rank rechecks, unlimited competitor analysis, automated alerts and local or city rank tracking. Annual billing is labelled "Saves 10%", which takes the three plans to about $26.10, $89.10 and $404.10 a month. The custom plan starts from $25 a month and prices keywords, backlinks and audit pages on separate sliders, so we have not quoted a figure for it.
One thing to watch if you are reading reviews: several review sites and search snippets still list the XL plan at $499. The pricing page we read shows $449. Treat any RankWatch article that quotes $499 as out of date on at least that line.
Why 250 RankWatch keywords can run out at 125.
The plan cards say keywords a day. The FAQ at the bottom of the same page explains what a keyword is, and it is not what most buyers assume.
"The keywords count is the multiplication of the total number of search engines they are being tracked over and then collective number is the addition of all the projects within the account. For example, if a project has 20 keywords, being tracked over 4 different search engines, the total keywords count for that project would be 20x4=80."

RankWatch counts search engines and locations together, so a keyword you watch on Google desktop and Google mobile costs two, and a keyword you watch in three cities costs three. That is a fair way to price, because each combination is a separate check. It just means the headline allowance only holds if you track one engine in one place.

Worked from the multiplication rule in RankWatch's FAQ and its three fixed plans. The custom builder may fit some of these counts more cheaply; its price depends on the sliders you set. SerpsTracker has no multiplier because it runs one check per keyword: Google organic results, once a day. That also means it does not split results by device or city, so if you need those splits, the multiplier is the honest price of getting them.

A buyer starts from a number: how many keywords need checking every day. This table takes four counts, assumes one engine and one location so RankWatch's multiplier stays at one, and shows the cheapest plan that covers each count on monthly billing.

At 250 keywords
RankWatch Medium at $29 is the cheaper monthly price, and it comes with unlimited projects. Our Starter plan only wins on yearly billing, at $19.50 a month, and caps you at 3 sites. For one engine and a handful of sites, RankWatch is a very fair deal.
At 1,500 keywords
A tie on the monthly price: RankWatch Large and SerpsTracker Growth are both $99. The gap opens on yearly billing, where RankWatch saves 10 percent ($89.10) and we charge half ($49.50). Large also includes an API, which our Growth plan does not.
At 5,000 keywords
There is no RankWatch plan between 1,500 and 7,500, so 5,000 lands on Extra Large at $449, or on the custom builder. SerpsTracker Agency covers 5,000 daily keywords for $249 a month, $124.50 yearly, with the API included.

Scored honestly, RankWatch takes the projects, users, local, engines, backlinks, audit, white label, rechecks, result depth and API price rows. SerpsTracker takes the yearly price at 1,500 keywords and up, the 5,000 keyword price, the simpler keyword count and self serve cancelling. If you need to watch keywords climbing from page three or four, pick a tracker that stores deeper positions, because we store the top 10.

Most of the plan card is backlink monitoring, audit pages and research credits. If you already run Ahrefs or Semrush for those, you are paying twice for the same jobs.

RankWatch exports project data, with row limits on the free trial. Export the keyword list for each project and keep a copy of your ranking history, because history does not move between trackers.

Is RankWatch Extra Large $449 or $499?
The RankWatch pricing page we read in September 2026 lists Extra Large at $449 a month for 7,500 keywords a day. Several review sites and search snippets still quote $499 for the XL plan, which looks like an older price. Check the live page before you budget, because RankWatch can change it.
How does RankWatch count keywords?
RankWatch multiplies each keyword by the search engines and locations you track it on. Its own FAQ gives the example of 20 keywords tracked over 4 search engines, which counts as 80. So 250 keywords on Google desktop and Google mobile already use 500 of your allowance, which is past the Medium plan.
Does RankWatch have an API?
Yes. RankWatch says its API can add projects, keywords and tags and fetch rank and competitor data, and that API export is available on the L plan and above, which starts at $99 a month. SerpsTracker puts its read only API on the Agency plan at $249, so RankWatch is the cheaper route to an API.
Does RankWatch have a free trial?
Yes. The RankWatch pricing FAQ says all features are active during the free trial, with limits on how much data some features publish, such as fewer export rows than the M plan. SerpsTracker has no timed trial: the rank checker on this page runs live Google checks without an account.
How do I cancel RankWatch?
RankWatch asks you to email a cancellation request to its support address. Its refund policy gives a 30 day money back guarantee on a fresh paid subscription only; renewals of an ongoing subscription are not refunded, and you keep access until the end of the cycle. SerpsTracker plans cancel from the billing page in your account.
What does RankWatch do that SerpsTracker does not?
A lot beyond the daily check. Every RankWatch plan includes unlimited projects and users, local and city rank tracking, real time rank rechecks, backlink monitoring, a site auditor and white label reporting. SerpsTracker records Google organic positions only, stores the top 10 per check, and has no backlink, audit, local or white label features.
Is RankWatch good for agencies?
For agencies that want branded reports and many client projects under one login, yes. Every plan allows unlimited projects and users and includes white label reporting, and Large adds a fully white label interface. The catch is the keyword multiplier: tracking each client on two devices or several cities burns the allowance fast.
