Serpstat pricing
Serpstat pricing and Serpstat API pricing with the rank tracker limits on every plan
Buying Serpstat mainly to track rankings means reading past the monthly price. The plan sells position checks, research searches, audit pages and, from Team, API credits. Those allowances answer different questions, and a large check pool is not a fixed daily keyword count.
Plan figures are based on Serpstat's pricing page on October 23, 2026, in US dollars. Prices reconstructed from advertised savings and our capacity calculations are labeled separately from published limits.

Serpstat starts at $50 a month billed yearly
Serpstat pricing at a glance
Serpstat costs $50, $100, $169 or $410 per month billed yearly on Individual, Team, Team x2 and Agency, with derived monthly billing rates of $69, $129, about $209 and $499. The plans include 10,000, 50,000, 100,000 and 500,000 position checks per month, respectively, with daily updates available on all four. API access starts on Team with 200,000 credits per month. Assuming one check per keyword in one location per update, Individual supports about 333 daily keywords, while a dedicated daily tracker sells a fixed keyword allowance.
Decide what you will actually use
Serpstat Team can be the better purchase if research, backlinks and audits belong in your workflow. If your job is checking saved keywords and responding to drops, compare the daily keyword capacity, site count and alert workflow before paying for the wider suite.
Every Serpstat plan and the limits behind its price
The card prices are monthly equivalents of annual billing. They are not the price of a subscription paid month to month. We derived the monthly rates by adding each advertised annual saving to twelve times its annual monthly rate, then dividing by twelve. Capterra lists $69, $129 and $499 monthly for Individual, Team and Agency. Team x2 works out at about $209 from the advertised savings.
For a freelancer, Individual has a project ceiling as well as a check ceiling. For an agency, Team removes the project limit but still meters checks, exports and API usage. An in-house team should also count users before choosing a tier. Unlimited projects never means unlimited position checks.
| Price or allowance | Individual | Team | Team x2 | Agency |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Per month billed yearly | $50 | $100 | $169 | $410 |
| Monthly billing, derived | $69 | $129 | About $209 | $499 |
| Advertised annual saving | $228 | $348 | $484 | $1,068 |
| Projects | 5 | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Searches per day | 100 | 500 | 1,000 | 5,000 |
| Position checks per month | 10,000 | 50,000 | 100,000 on card, 99,999 in comparison table | 500,000 |
| Pages to audit | 30,000 | 150,000 | 300,000 | 1,500,000 |
| Export rows | 50,000 | 250,000 | 500,000 | 2,500,000 |
| AI Visibility checks per month | None | 1,500 | 1,500 | 1,500 |
| API credits per month | No API | 200,000 | 400,000 | 2,000,000 |

| Additional listed features | No share access or API | Scheduled reports and MCP integration for ChatGPT and Claude | Everything in Team with double the allowances | White Label Reports and phone support |
Every cell comes from the plan cards and the comparison table on Serpstat's pricing page. The annual discount banner says savings of up to 27%, and the monthly row is our derivation from the advertised savings.
The same Rank Tracker feature list across all four plans
All plans list daily updates, competitor rankings, organic and paid keyword rankings, desktop and mobile, and project migration. The main tracking distinction in this comparison is capacity. Team x2 deserves a checkout check because its card says 100,000 monthly position checks while the comparison table says 99,999. Our calculations use the card figure and remain estimates.
What a position check buys you
Serpstat's pricing page does not say how a position check is metered. Our conversion assumes one check means one keyword in one location on one update. Divide the monthly pool by 30 for a daily keyword estimate, or by approximately 4.33 for weekly tracking. This is our arithmetic, not a keyword entitlement promised by Serpstat.
| Plan | Monthly position checks | About this many daily keywords | About this many weekly keywords |
|---|---|---|---|
| Individual | 10,000 | 333 | 2,300 |
| Team | 50,000 | 1,666 | 11,500 |
| Team x2 | 100,000 | 3,333 | 23,000 |
| Agency | 500,000 | 16,666 | 115,000 |
Daily estimates use a 30 day month and are rounded down. Weekly estimates use 52 updates per year divided by 12 months and are rounded conservatively. A calendar month with more daily runs needs more checks. Confirm device and competitor metering before sizing a subscription.
Choose frequency around decisions
Serpstat lets you schedule weekly updates or updates every N days. A stable informational keyword list can therefore stretch the same monthly pool further. A commercial list you inspect after releases or ranking changes may justify daily updates. Decide which list needs daily evidence before using the largest weekly number to judge value.
A freelancer should check the intended search context during the trial. An agency should repeat that exercise across representative client projects. The useful outcome is a measured check budget for your actual settings, rather than an assumption that research searches, API credits and position checks can substitute for one another.
Daily is available on Individual
The entry plan is already daily. Moving up buys a larger allowance and other suite features. If someone describes Individual as a weekly-only tracker, that does not match the published Rank Tracker feature list.
API access starts on Team and scales by credits and request rate
There is no API on Individual. Team is the first subscription with access, at $100 a month billed yearly or our derived $129 monthly rate. Team and higher include Search analytics API, Backlinks API, Rank tracking API and Site audit API. That makes the subscription relevant to teams building reporting around several kinds of SEO data, rather than only retrieving positions.
| Plan | Per month billed yearly | Monthly rate, derived | Credits per month | Requests per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Team | $100 | $129 | 200,000 | 1 |
| Team x2 | $169 | About $209 | 400,000 | 1 |
| Agency | $410 | $499 | 2,000,000 | 10 |
Credits and requests per second constrain different parts of an integration. A larger credit pool affects monthly usage, while the request rate affects how quickly your application can send calls. Team x2 doubles Team's credit allowance but retains the same one request per second limit. Agency raises both. Serpstat's pricing page does not publish an endpoint credit schedule, so converting these credits into a guaranteed number of requests or returned rankings would be misleading.
Enterprise API and datasets are available on request, with no published price. Ask for terms matched to the endpoints and volume you need. If your integration only needs the rankings already collected by a daily tracker, compare the scope of our rank tracking API before choosing a broader data subscription. SerpsTracker API access is on Agency and Enterprise.
Budget for the billing term and the work outside rank tracking
The first cost surprise is reading an annual monthly equivalent as a monthly subscription price. The second is choosing a rank tracking tier before checking access and usage elsewhere in the suite. Individual cannot satisfy an API requirement, regardless of how small your tracked keyword list is. AI Visibility usage also has its own top-up price, separate from the position check calculation.
AI Visibility top-ups
Extra AI Visibility checks cost $20 per 1,000, with a minimum top-up of $40. Team lists 1,500 included checks. These are not extra rank tracking checks, so keep them out of the daily keyword capacity calculation.
A trial that becomes a subscription
Individual or Team offers a seven day free trial. A $1 card verification charge is refunded within 5 to 30 minutes. Auto-renewal starts and the plan amount is charged after seven days unless you cancel. Set a cancellation reminder if you are only evaluating.
Agency and custom terms
Agency shows Subscribe rather than a trial button. Cards, PayPal and bank transfer are listed payment methods. Enterprise, nonprofit and longer contract discounts are available on request, but no discount figure is published for those arrangements.
Use the trial to test a realistic project, its schedule and the API if Team is your intended plan. Record the allowance consumed by that workflow. Serpstat's pricing page does not publish a position check overage rate or an API overage rate, so this comparison does not add one to the bill or assume that extra usage can be purchased at a particular price.
Compare daily capacity before comparing the subscription price
The table divides the monthly subscription price by daily keyword capacity at full allowance usage. Serpstat capacity is our estimate under the check assumption above. SerpsTracker capacity is the published daily keyword allowance. Annual columns use the monthly equivalent of yearly billing, while monthly columns use the month to month subscription rate. Approximate values are rounded.
| Plan | Daily keywords | Monthly subscription | Per month billed yearly | Per keyword on monthly billing | Per keyword on yearly billing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Serpstat Individual | About 333 | $69, derived | $50 | $0.21 | $0.15 |
| Serpstat Team | About 1,666 | $129, derived | $100 | $0.077 | $0.06 |
| Serpstat Team x2 | About 3,333 | About $209, derived | $169 | About $0.063 | $0.051 |
| Serpstat Agency | About 16,666 | $499, derived | $410 | $0.030 | $0.025 |
| SerpsTracker Starter | 250 | $49 | $24 | $0.196 | $0.096 |
| SerpsTracker Growth | 1,500 | $99 | $49.50 | $0.066 | $0.033 |
| SerpsTracker Agency | 5,000 | $249 | $124.50 | $0.050 | $0.025 |
Serpstat figures are our arithmetic, not vendor per-keyword prices. SerpsTracker plan numbers come from our plan configuration and pricing page. A daily keyword means a keyword slot checked daily, and the per-keyword cost is per month, not per individual check.
Serpstat Team is in the same price band per daily keyword as SerpsTracker Growth on monthly billing, and it includes keyword research, backlinks and site audits. It is the better buy if you want that suite. On yearly billing, Growth has the lower tracking cost per keyword here. At Agency level, Serpstat and SerpsTracker reach about the same annual per-keyword cost, but at different total budgets and capacities. Use the row that fits your list rather than the largest plan's unit price.
Buy the suite when research and audits are part of the job
A freelancer planning content and investigating competitors can use the research and audit allowances alongside rankings. An in-house SEO can benefit from keeping those tasks in the same subscription. Comparing the whole price only with rank tracking ignores the other work the product is meant to cover. Serpstat already supports daily updates, so cadence alone is not a reason to leave.
Research and monitoring together
Team pairs its position check pool with 500 searches per day, audit capacity and export rows. If you actively use those allowances, the bundle can replace separate research spending as well as cover your tracked keyword list.
Organic and paid rankings
Serpstat lists both organic and paid keyword rankings, plus desktop and mobile, on every plan. A buyer who needs paid rankings should include that requirement in the shortlist before using an organic-only tracker as the price benchmark.
Broader agency requirements
Team includes scheduled reports and MCP integration for ChatGPT and Claude. Agency lists White Label Reports and phone support. Those requirements can justify the wider subscription independently of the estimated price of a daily keyword.
Pay for daily positions when your research tools are already covered
SerpsTracker fits a buyer who wants a saved keyword list checked automatically, ranking history and alerts to guide the next investigation. Starter covers 250 daily keywords on 3 sites for $49 monthly or $24 a month billed yearly. Growth covers 1,500 daily keywords on 10 sites for $99 or $49.50. Agency covers 5,000 daily keywords across unlimited sites for $249 or $124.50, with API access.
Every paid plan includes daily checks, stored history, email drop alerts and weekly Monday reports. Slack alerts start on Growth. The automated run starts at 04:00 UTC, while Check now uses a separate daily pool for extra readings between scheduled runs. An alert follows a check, so daily automation does not promise continuous detection of changes.
The scope matters as much as the price. SerpsTracker records Google organic results and stores the organic top 10 behind each reading. A keyword outside that range does not get an exact deeper position. Locations and devices are tracked separately. If paid rankings or suite research are required, keep those requirements in the Serpstat decision rather than assuming a dedicated tracker replaces them.
Read the daily rank tracker guide for the workflow and the Serpstat alternative article for the focused comparison. The rank tracker cost comparison helps when your shortlist includes other suites as well.
A practical buying test
Choose Serpstat if you will use its research, backlinks and audits alongside daily rankings. Choose a dedicated tracker if the work is monitoring known keywords, reviewing drops and keeping a simple plan for your sites. Compare the actual list and required integrations before committing to yearly billing.
Serpstat pricing questions answered
How much does Serpstat cost?
Serpstat starts at $50 a month billed yearly for Individual, followed by Team at $100, Team x2 at $169 and Agency at $410. Our derived monthly billing rates are $69, $129, about $209 and $499. Each plan bundles rank tracking with research and audit allowances.
Does Serpstat have an API?
Yes. Serpstat includes API access on Team, Team x2 and Agency, covering Search analytics, Backlinks, Rank tracking and Site audit APIs. Individual has no API. Team starts with 200,000 monthly credits at one request per second. Enterprise API and datasets are available on request without a published price.
How much is the Serpstat API?
Serpstat API access starts with Team at $100 a month billed yearly, or $129 on our derived monthly rate, including 200,000 credits per month. Team x2 includes 400,000 credits and Agency includes 2,000,000. These are subscription allowances, not a published price for each request or returned keyword.
Does Serpstat have a free trial?
Yes. Serpstat advertises a seven day free trial on Individual or Team, with a $1 card verification charge refunded within 5 to 30 minutes. The subscription renews automatically and the plan amount is charged after seven days unless canceled. Agency shows a Subscribe button rather than a trial.
Is Serpstat rank tracking daily?
Yes. Serpstat lists daily Rank Tracker updates on every plan, including Individual. The monthly position check allowance still limits how much you can track at that frequency. Weekly scheduling or an update every N days stretches that allowance, so daily availability does not mean unlimited daily keywords.
How many keywords can I track in Serpstat?
Our estimate is about 333 daily keywords on Individual, 1,666 on Team, 3,333 on Team x2 and 16,666 on Agency. Those figures assume one check per keyword in one location per update over a 30 day month. Serpstat does not define position check metering on the pricing page.
Is there a Serpstat discount?
Yes. Serpstat advertises savings of up to 27% with annual billing, and its plan cards show monthly rates for that commitment. Custom pricing and discounts for enterprises, nonprofits and longer contracts are available on request, with no published figure. Compare the annual commitment with your expected usage before subscribing.
What is a Serpstat position check?
The pricing page does not explain exactly how Serpstat meters a position check. Our capacity tables assume one keyword in one location on one update consumes one check. Confirm how your intended locations, devices and competitor settings affect usage before treating any calculated keyword capacity as a guaranteed allowance.
Is Serpstat worth it?
Serpstat is worth considering when you need keyword research, backlinks, site audits and daily rank tracking in the same subscription. Team is in the same price band per daily keyword as SerpsTracker Growth under our assumptions. A dedicated tracker fits better when daily positions and drop alerts are the work.
Does Serpstat Individual include API access?
No. Serpstat Individual has no API access, even though it includes daily rank tracking and 10,000 monthly position checks. Team is the first API plan, with 200,000 monthly credits and one request per second. Choose the subscription around your integration requirement as well as the size of your keyword list.
