SERPRobot review with the real cost per bot at your keyword count

SERPRobot is the cheapest way to start tracking Google rankings daily: $4.99 a month buys one bot, and one bot checks 75 keywords every 24 hours. The catch is that the price never bends. Every extra 75 daily keywords costs another $4.99, so 1,500 keywords cost $99.80 a month and 5,000 cost $334.33, with no annual discount on the calculator.

How we reviewed SERPRobot

This review is built from what SERPRobot publishes: its pricing page, the pricing FAQ under it, its features page, and the bot calculator script that sits behind the pricing page, all read in October 2026. We did not run an accuracy test, so we do not score data accuracy, and we leave out the customer quote on the features page because we cannot check it. Every cost figure here is the calculator's own arithmetic: bots needed equals keywords times 24 divided by your check interval in hours, divided by 75, rounded up.

We sell a rank tracker, so read this with that in mind. Below about 1,500 daily keywords SERPRobot costs less than we do on monthly billing, and we say so in the tables.

SERPRobot pricing at real keyword counts

Here is what a daily checked list costs in bots, monthly and over a year, next to the cheapest of our plans that covers the same count. SERPRobot's calculator multiplies the monthly price by twelve for yearly billing, so there is no annual saving to factor in. Our yearly price is about half the monthly one.

Daily keywords Bots SERPRobot monthly SERPRobot yearly SerpsTracker, monthly / yearly
75 1 $4.99 $59.88 Starter: $49 / $288
250 4 $19.96 $239.52 Starter: $49 / $288
500 7 $34.93 $419.16 Growth: $99 / $594
1,000 14 $69.86 $838.32 Growth: $99 / $594
1,500 20 $99.80 $1,197.60 Growth: $99 / $594
2,500 34 $169.66 $2,035.92 Agency: $249 / $1,494
5,000 67 $334.33 $4,011.96 Agency: $249 / $1,494

Read the table in three bands. Up to 250 keywords, SERPRobot is clearly cheaper: four bots cost $19.96 a month against our $49, and even on yearly billing $239.52 beats our $288. Between 500 and 1,500 it depends on how you pay. Monthly, SERPRobot still wins or ties, with 20 bots at $99.80 against our $99 for 1,500. Yearly, our Growth plan at $594 is cheaper from about 1,000 keywords. Past 1,500 the straight line costs SERPRobot money on both counts: 5,000 daily keywords are $334.33 a month in bots against $249 on our Agency plan, or $4,011.96 a year against $1,494.

Our full price list is on the pricing page, and the same keyword counts are run against other trackers in the rank tracker cost comparison.

How check frequency changes the SERPRobot bill

This is the part most SERPRobot reviews skip, and it is the most useful thing about the product. A bot is 75 checks per 24 hours, not 75 keywords, and the pricing calculator lets you pick how often each keyword is refreshed, from every 2 hours to every 365 days. Stretch the interval and one bot covers more keywords; shorten it and the bill multiplies. Here is a 500 keyword list at five settings.

Weekly checking is where SERPRobot is hard to beat: 500 keywords for $4.99 a month. If you report to a client once a month and nobody acts on a Tuesday drop, that is a sensible setup. The 2 hour setting is the opposite case. Ranking positions rarely move in a way you can act on within two hours, and at $399.20 a month for 500 keywords it costs more than our Agency plan for ten times the list. If the fear behind a 2 hour interval is really your site going offline, that is a job for uptime monitoring that checks every 30 seconds, not for a rank tracker.

Daily is the sensible middle for anyone whose rankings carry revenue, and it is how we price every plan. Why daily is usually enough is covered in our daily rank tracker guide.

Trial, billing, refunds and payment terms

SERPRobot keeps its terms short, and most of them are buyer friendly. The trial is 14 days with no payment required, and the pricing page says every feature is unlocked from the first bot you hire, so there is no feature tier to upgrade into later. You can switch to annual billing at any point to get one invoice a year, and there are one-off yearly bots that are a single purchase and do not renew, which suits anyone whose company dislikes auto renewing cards.

Three details deserve a second read before you commit. Cancelling stops future charges but the bot works out its remaining paid days, and no refunds are given for that remaining usage. Prices exclude sales tax, calculated from your location at checkout. And SERPRobot takes PayPal, Visa and Mastercard but not American Express directly; the workaround it suggests is adding the Amex card to PayPal.

One more thing worth knowing: some third party reviews still quote 300 searches a day per bot. The current SERPRobot pricing page says 75 keyword updates per 24 hours, and that is the figure every cost in this review uses.

What SERPRobot does well, and where it is thin

The strength is the pricing model itself. You pay for checks, not for a plan with features you do not use, you can scale up or down one bot at a time, and the frequency setting lets a patient buyer track a large list for very little. There is also a Data Studio connector listed in the footer for teams that build their own dashboards.

The weak spot is how little the product explains about itself. The features page is a short list of claims, with no published description of drop alerts, competitor tracking depth or how many results are stored behind each keyword. If any of those decide your purchase, use the trial to look for them before you hire bots. Recent public reviews are mixed on reliability, so check them too and treat the 14 days as a real test rather than a formality.

When SerpsTracker is the better buy

We built SerpsTracker for the buyer the straight line punishes: a team that needs every keyword checked daily and has more than about 1,500 of them, or one that pays yearly. Every plan checks daily, stores the Google top 10 behind each keyword, and emails you the morning a position crosses the threshold you set. Growth covers 1,500 keywords on 10 sites for $99 a month, Agency covers 5,000 on unlimited sites for $249, and yearly billing takes about half off both. How the alert works is on the rank drop alerts page, and the side by side feature table is on our SERPRobot alternative page.

If you are comparing older dedicated trackers too, AuthorityLabs pricing runs the opposite model to SERPRobot: four fixed tiers from $65 with unlimited users and white label on every plan.

Our verdict

SERPRobot is the right buy for a freelancer or a small site with up to a few hundred keywords, and the best value on the market for anyone happy with weekly checks. Start the 14 day trial, size your bots with the formula above, and buy one-off yearly bots if you want no renewal surprises. If your daily list is heading past 1,500 keywords, or you will pay yearly anyway, price a tiered tracker before you hire bot number twenty.

SERPRobot review questions

Is SERPRobot worth it?

For a small list checked daily, yes. One $4.99 bot covers 75 keywords every 24 hours, which is the cheapest daily door into rank tracking we have priced. It gets less attractive as the list grows, because the price rises in a straight line: 1,500 daily keywords need 20 bots at $99.80 a month, and 5,000 need 67 bots at $334.33.

How much does SERPRobot cost?

SERPRobot charges $4.99 USD a month per SERP Bot, and each bot gives you 75 keyword updates per 24 hours. Prices exclude sales tax. Its pricing calculator bills a year as twelve months, so one bot costs $59.88 a year, with no annual discount shown on the page.

How many keywords can one SERPRobot bot track?

One bot handles 75 keyword checks per 24 hours. Checked daily, that is 75 keywords. Checked weekly, the same bot covers 525 keywords, because the SERPRobot calculator divides the work by how often you want each keyword refreshed. Checked every two hours, one bot covers only about 6 keywords.

Does SERPRobot have a free trial?

Yes. SERPRobot offers a 14-day free trial with no payment required and full access during the trial. After 14 days you need to hire at least one paid bot to keep checks running.

Can I get a refund from SERPRobot?

Not for unused time. The SERPRobot pricing FAQ says you can cancel a paid bot at any time and will not be charged again, but the bot works out its remaining paid days and no refunds are given for the remaining usage.

What payment methods does SERPRobot accept?

PayPal plus Visa or Mastercard credit, debit and prepaid cards. SERPRobot says it does not accept American Express directly, but you can add an Amex card to a PayPal account and pay that way. It also sells one-off yearly bots that do not auto renew.

What is a good SERPRobot alternative for a larger keyword list?

Once your daily list passes about 1,500 keywords, a tiered tracker costs less. SerpsTracker checks 1,500 Google keywords daily for $99 a month and 5,000 for $249, about half that billed yearly, against $99.80 and $334.33 a month in SERPRobot bots, and it adds drop alerts by email.
