Keysearch, priced per tracked keyword

Keysearch pricing and Keysearch cost per tracked keyword

The short answer

Keysearch costs $24 a month for Starter and $48 a month for Pro, or $20 and $40 a month billed yearly. Starter tracks 80 keywords and Pro tracks 200. That is $0.30 and $0.24 per tracked keyword, with keyword research, audits and an AI writer included. Keysearch publishes no plan above 200 tracked keywords.

Plans, prices and allowances below are read from the Keysearch pricing section, its pricing FAQ and its terms of service in October 2026. We are not affiliated with Keysearch.

Keysearch plans

Keysearch has two plans, Starter and Pro.

Keysearch is a budget SEO suite built around keyword research, aimed at bloggers, indie publishers and small businesses. Both plans unlock the same tools: keyword research, live SERP analysis, competitor and backlink analysis, YouTube research, an SEO auditor, an AI content assistant and rank tracking. What the price changes is how much of each you can use.

Annual billing is labeled "2 months free" on the toggle, which is a discount of about 17 percent. Keysearch says monthly plans carry no long-term commitment and can be cancelled at any time, and that you can move between Starter and Pro from your account settings with the price adjusted. The terms ask for two days of notice before a cancellation on annual billing.

Two details are worth reading twice. The tracked keyword allowance is written as "80 tracked keywords per month" and "200 tracked keywords per month", and neither the pricing page nor its FAQ says how often those keywords are rechecked. And the refund window in the terms is 30 days from the initial purchase date, longer than the trial most budget tools offer.

What one tracked keyword costs

Keysearch cost per tracked keyword, plan by plan.

Divide each plan's price by its tracked keyword allowance. This is the honest worst case for Keysearch, because the same price also buys keyword research, audits and AI credits. It is still the number that matters when the rank tracker is the part you open every morning.

For comparison, SerpsTracker costs $0.156 per daily keyword on Starter (250 for $39), $0.066 on Growth (1,500 for $99) and $0.050 on Agency (5,000 for $249) on monthly billing, and half that on yearly billing. The difference is what the money buys: Keysearch spreads it across a research suite, we spend all of it on a daily Google check with the top 10 stored behind every keyword.

Priced on real keyword counts

Keysearch vs SerpsTracker at six tracked keyword counts.

Each cell is the cheapest published plan that covers the count, monthly price first, then the full yearly bill. Keysearch rows past 200 are empty because Keysearch lists no larger plan or tracked keyword add-on on its pricing page. The last column is scored on price alone.

Tracked keywords Keysearch, monthly / per year SerpsTracker, monthly / per year Cheaper
80 Starter: $24 / $240 Starter (250): $39 / $234 Keysearch monthly by $15, SerpsTracker yearly by $6

Up to 80, monthly

Keysearch Starter at $24 is the cheaper bill, and it comes with 200 keyword research lookups a day. If you mostly research and only glance at rankings, Keysearch is the better buy here.

81 to 250 keywords

Keyword 81 moves you to Keysearch Pro at $48 for 200. Our Starter covers 250 daily Google keywords across 3 sites for $39, or $234 for the year against $480 for Keysearch Pro annual.

Above 200

This is where most growing sites end up, and Keysearch shows no price for it. Our Growth plan covers 1,500 daily keywords for $99 a month and Agency covers 5,000 for $249.

How Keysearch sits against the rest of the market is in the rank tracker cost comparison, and if you are deciding how many keywords you actually need, start with how many keywords should you track.

Keysearch vs SerpsTracker, feature by feature.

These are different products. Keysearch is a research suite with a small rank tracker inside. SerpsTracker does one job: a daily Google organic check per keyword, the top 10 stored behind it, and an alert the same day a position moves. On breadth, Keysearch takes most rows.

Best for Daily Google tracking past 200 keywords, alerts, yearly billing Bloggers who mostly research keywords and track a short list

Scored honestly, Keysearch takes the entry price, keyword research, the site audit, backlinks, YouTube research, the AI writer and the refund window. SerpsTracker takes every keyword count above 200, the yearly price from 81 keywords up, a published daily schedule and same day drop alerts. If keyword research is the reason you log in, Keysearch is the right tool and this page should not change your mind.

Who should add a tracker, who should stay

Add a daily tracker if this is you.

  • Your list is past 200 keywords

A site with category pages, a few hundred product terms or more than one location outgrows Pro quickly. Keysearch shows no plan for it. Our Growth plan covers 1,500 daily keywords for $99 a month, $49.50 billed yearly.

  • You need to know the day a page drops

Keysearch does not publish a recheck schedule or alerting on its pricing page. We check every keyword daily and email you the morning a position crosses your threshold.

  • You pay Pro only for the extra tracked keywords

If Starter covers your research but not your rank list, $24 more for 120 keywords is the expensive route. Keep Keysearch Starter for research and track 250 keywords daily with us for $19.50 a month billed yearly.

Stay on Keysearch alone if any of these is true.

  • Research is your main job

Keyword difficulty, SERP analysis and content briefs are the core of Keysearch, and we do not offer any of them. Replacing them elsewhere costs more than the Keysearch bill.

  • You track fewer than 80 keywords

At $24 a month with research included, Keysearch Starter is cheaper than any monthly plan we sell.

  • A monthly look at rankings is enough

If you check positions once a month to see whether content is working, the built-in tracker does that job without a second subscription.

Running both

Keep Keysearch for research, track daily with us.

Step 01

Export your tracked list

Copy the keywords from your Keysearch rank tracking project, plus a note of the current positions, so you have a starting record.

Step 02

Add the keywords you could not fit

This is the point of the move: paste the full list, not only the 80 or 200 that fit. Money pages and their close variants first.

Step 03

Set alert thresholds

Pick the keywords where a drop costs you money and set a threshold. The email arrives the morning a position crosses it.

Step 04

Decide at renewal

If you were on Pro only for tracked keywords, move back to Starter at renewal and keep the research allowance you actually use.

Two trackers rarely agree on the same morning, and how accurate are rank trackers explains why a one or two place gap is normal. If you move off another tool entirely, how to switch rank trackers covers keeping your history.

Keysearch pricing questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does Keysearch cost?

Keysearch has two plans. Starter is $24 a month and Pro is $48 a month. With annual billing Keysearch gives two months free, which brings Starter to $20 a month ($240 a year) and Pro to $40 a month ($480 a year). Both plans include the same tool set; the allowances and the Foresight feature are what change.

How many keywords can you track with Keysearch?

Starter lists 80 tracked keywords and Pro lists 200, both described on the pricing page as "per month". The pricing page shows no larger plan and no keyword add-on, so 200 tracked keywords is the most you can buy from the published price list.

Does Keysearch offer a discount?

Yes, for annual billing. The pricing toggle is labeled "2 months free", which takes Starter from $24 to $20 a month and Pro from $48 to $40 a month when paid yearly. Keysearch terms also say refunds are not given in order to repurchase the same plan at a discounted price.

Does Keysearch have a free trial?

The Keysearch homepage advertises a 7-day free trial with cancel anytime. One of its own comparison pages describes trying it free for a month, so confirm the length at signup. Separately, the Keysearch terms allow a refund request for up to 30 days from the initial purchase date.

What is the difference between Keysearch Starter and Pro?

Pro doubles the price and raises every allowance: 500 keyword searches a day instead of 200, 200 tracked keywords instead of 80, 5,000 audited pages instead of 2,000 and 15,000 AI credits instead of 5,000. Pro also adds Foresight, the AI recommendation engine, and team collaboration according to the Keysearch FAQ.

Is Keysearch Starter enough for rank tracking?

For one small site, often yes. 80 tracked keywords covers a blog with a handful of money pages and their main variants. It runs out fast for a site with category pages, several locations or client work, and the jump to Pro buys only 120 more tracked keywords for another $24 a month.

How often does Keysearch update tracked rankings?

Keysearch does not say on its pricing page. The pricing FAQ says the Keysearch database is updated daily, but it does not state the recheck schedule for your tracked keywords. If daily movement matters to you, ask Keysearch support before buying, or use a tracker that publishes a daily schedule.

Is Keysearch cheaper than SerpsTracker?

At 80 keywords on monthly billing, yes: $24 against our $39 Starter. On yearly billing we are $6 cheaper at 80 keywords ($234 against $240) and $246 cheaper at 200 ($234 against $480). Past 200 tracked keywords Keysearch publishes no plan, while our Growth plan covers 1,500 daily keywords for $99 a month.

Pricing other budget tools against Keysearch? The Ubersuggest pricing page covers another research suite with a per project keyword cap, the SERPRobot alternative prices the cheapest daily checks on the market, and the cheapest rank tracker ranks them all by what a daily keyword costs.
