Conductor, read from its own pricing page
Conductor pricing and Conductor SEO cost by plan and keyword limit
The short answer
Conductor publishes no prices. It publishes limits: Essentials tracks 500 keywords on 3 websites and has a free trial, Growth tracks 5,000 on 5 websites through a demo, and Enterprise starts at 60,000 keywords through sales. Rankings refresh weekly unless you buy the daily add-on. Purchase data from Vendr puts the median contract at $49,020 a year.
Plan limits read from conductor.com/pricing and refresh rules from Conductor's own documentation in October 2026. The contract figure is third-party data, labeled as such. We are not affiliated with Conductor.

Three plans, three sets of limits, and no number on any of them.
Conductor sells one platform in three sizes. Every plan bundles content generation (Creator), SEO and AI search reporting (Intelligence), website monitoring (Monitoring) and developer access (AgentStack). The plans differ in how much of each you get, and the pricing page says it charges for usage rather than seats. What it does not say anywhere is what the usage costs.
For a buyer that changes the order of work. With seoClarity or Ahrefs you can start from a floor price and ask what is included. With Conductor you start from the limits, work out which plan your keyword list and site count land on, and only then ask sales for a number. The cards below are that first step.
One detail is easy to miss. The Enterprise card says 60,000 or more tracked keywords, and the comparison table further down the same page lists Enterprise keywords as custom. Read 60,000 as where Enterprise conversations start, not a cap.

Weekly rankings by default, daily only as a paid add-on.
The plan cards say how many keywords you track. They do not say how often. That answer is in Conductor's keyword data documentation, and it matters more for the price than the keyword count does: tracked keyword rank data is collected weekly unless you choose to track specific keywords daily, and the daily section of the docs carries the note "Add-on required".

A fresh top 10 reading every morning
On the default schedule, a ranking drop that happens on a Tuesday can reach your report the following week. Conductor publishes new weekly data in its newer Keywords reports as soon as it is collected, which it puts at no sooner than 30 hours and no later than 96 hours, and legacy reports such as Market Share update at the start of the next week. For monthly reporting to leadership that is fine. For catching a lost page one position before it costs a week of leads, it is slow.
Two more limits come from the same documentation. Conductor reads the first three pages of results, so a page past roughly position 30 shows as not ranking. And history is kept for 24 months for both weekly and daily data, with the API suggested for anything older. The daily add-on itself has no published price, so if daily checks matter, ask for them as a separate line in the quote and ask how many keywords it covers.
Conductor cost per year from purchase data, next to a daily tracker.
With no list price, the best public guide to what Conductor costs is purchase data. Vendr, a software buying service, reports figures from anonymized Conductor transactions in its dataset: a median of $49,020 a year, with a low of $41,364 and a high of $93,100, on a page last updated in February 2026. Conductor confirms none of these, and the plan behind each contract is not shown, so treat them as a range to sanity check a quote.

The comparison is deliberately narrow. A Conductor contract pays for content generation, technical monitoring of hundreds of thousands of pages, AI search visibility and a platform several teams can work in. A daily rank tracker pays for one job. If your Enterprise list runs past 10,000 keywords, our largest plan is too small and Conductor or another platform is the honest answer. If the job is daily Google positions for a few thousand money keywords, the price gap is roughly thirty to one against the reported median.
Conductor vs SerpsTracker for rank tracking, row by row.
Conductor is an enterprise AEO and SEO platform and we are a daily Google rank tracker. This table covers only the rank tracking job. Conductor wins on depth, breadth and AI search. We win on refresh, on a published price and on buying without a sales cycle.

Conductor features come from its pricing page and its keyword data documentation. If your stakeholders ask how often the brand shows up in ChatGPT answers, or want positions on page three, Conductor does that and we do not. If they ask every Monday whether the money keywords are still on page one, we answer that every day.
Pick SerpsTracker if this is you.
-
You need to know about a drop this week, not next
Every keyword is read every morning and a drop past your threshold sends an email the same day, with Slack from Growth up.
-
The renewal usage report says rankings and little else
If the content and monitoring modules sat idle, 5,000 daily keywords cost $249 a month here, cancellable any month.
-
You want a number before you talk to anyone
Every plan and price is on the pricing page. Sign up, paste the list, pick the city or ZIP, and tracking starts.
Buy Conductor if any of these is true.
-
AI search visibility is on the roadmap
Conductor now sells itself on answer engine optimization, with AI search credits in every plan. We do not track AI answers.
-
Content and technical teams work in the same tool
Writing assistant drafts, content scoring and round the clock page monitoring come in one contract with one login.
-
Your list is in the tens of thousands
Enterprise starts at 60,000 keywords and 75 competitors. Our largest plan stops at 10,000 daily keywords.
Four questions to settle before you accept a Conductor quote.
Step 01
Which plan does the list land on?
Count keywords, competitors and websites against the three cards. A list of 600 keywords on two sites already outgrows Essentials.
Step 02
Is daily tracking in the quote?
The docs mark daily data as an add-on. Ask for it as its own line, with the number of keywords it covers.
Step 03
Is the Data API included?
It is included on Enterprise and only available on the other plans. If dashboards depend on it, price it now.
Step 04
What would a split setup cost?
Price the platform for content and monitoring on a smaller keyword count, and the daily money list in a tracker.
The same exercise for the other enterprise platforms is in our seoClarity pricing teardown and the BrightEdge alternative comparison. Teams already set on leaving will find the options side by side in Conductor alternatives for rank tracking, and the governance questions a security review asks are answered on our enterprise rank tracking page.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Conductor cost?
Conductor does not publish a price for any plan. Its pricing page lists what Essentials, Growth and Enterprise include and sends you to a free trial, a demo or sales. Vendr, which collects anonymized purchase data, reports a median of $49,020 a year for Conductor, with a low of $41,364 and a high of $93,100 on its February 2026 page.
Does Conductor have a free trial?
Yes, on the smallest plan. The Essentials card on the pricing page carries a Try for Free button, and Essentials covers 500 tracked keywords, 5 competitors and 3 websites. Growth is sold through a demo and Enterprise through sales, so the trial shows you the product at the entry tier only.
How many keywords can you track in Conductor?
Essentials tracks 500 keywords, Growth 5,000 and Enterprise 60,000 or more, according to the plan cards. The comparison table on the same page lists the Enterprise keyword count as custom. Tracked competitors run 5, 25 and 75 or more, and tracked websites 3, 5 and 10 or more.
Does Conductor track rankings daily?
Not by default. Conductor documentation says tracked keyword rank data is collected weekly unless you choose to track specific keywords daily, and the daily keyword data section is marked add-on required. Weekly data is published between 30 and 96 hours after collection; daily data for Monday to Thursday appears the next day.
How deep does Conductor read the search results?
Conductor says it looks at the first three pages of results for each tracked keyword and records where your pages appear. A keyword whose best result sits past those three pages, roughly position 30, is reported as not ranking. Weekly and daily keyword history is kept for the most recent 24 months.
What happened to Searchmetrics pricing?
Searchmetrics is part of Conductor now. Conductor acquired the Berlin company in 2023, and searchmetrics.com redirects to conductor.com today, so there is no separate Searchmetrics price list to buy from. Former Searchmetrics customers are quoted on Conductor plans, which means the same quote-only model described on this page.
Is the Conductor API included?
On Enterprise, yes. The plan comparison lists the Data API as included on Enterprise and as available on Essentials and Growth, which on that table means it can be added rather than being part of the plan. The MCP server and the LLM apps are listed as included on all three plans.
What is a cheaper alternative to Conductor for daily rank tracking?
SerpsTracker tracks 5,000 Google keywords daily on unlimited sites for $249 a month on the Agency plan, or $1,494 a year billed yearly, with an API included. Enterprise covers 10,000 daily keywords for $498 a month. We read the organic top 10 on Google only, so we replace the rank tracking part of Conductor, not the platform.
Want to see every tracker priced per keyword, not just the enterprise platforms? The rank tracker cost comparison lines up 21 tools, and the daily rank tracker page shows how the morning reading is taken.
