Refund Policy
In force from October 14, 2026
Money paid for a SerpsTracker plan stays paid. We send a charge back only in the three situations set out in part 02, and only when our records confirm it. The free Google rank checker shows you real results before you spend anything, and switching off renewals takes two clicks on the billing screen.
A period of tracking, opened in full on day one
Each plan is a monthly or yearly subscription that keeps a set number of keywords and sites under daily watch, with the allowances shown on the pricing page. The fee buys the tracking capacity for the whole billing period. It is not a charge per keyword checked, so the capacity is yours from the first day whether you load two keywords or the full allowance.
For that reason every payment is final. The rank checker on the home page runs the same Google lookups as the paid tracker, so you can judge the data before buying, and you can stop future renewals whenever you want.
By starting a subscription you ask us to begin the service at once. Where a statutory right of withdrawal or a cooling off period would otherwise apply, you accept that it ends as soon as tracking has started at your request.
Reasons that do not lead to a refund
None of these entitles you to money back, in full or in part.
- You no longer need rank tracking, the project ended, or the client you tracked for left.
- You added few keywords, or none, during a period you had paid for.
- Rankings went down, stayed flat, or differ from what you see in a personal browser session. Search results vary by location, device and personalisation.
- A renewal was taken, including one collected a few days late after earlier attempts were declined.
- You thought the plan was a one time purchase. Pricing, checkout, the confirmation email and the billing screen all say it renews.
- You forgot to cancel before the renewal date, or cancelled the day after it.
- A feature you expected is not listed on the pricing page, or behaves differently from what you assumed.
- You picked a plan with too many or too few keywords, or yearly billing instead of monthly.
- Unused days left after you cancel. Access lasts to the end of the period and is not pro-rated.
- Someone else used the account, for example a colleague who had access to your sign in inbox.
The three cases where we return a charge
Each case has to be backed by the records in part 04. A request those records do not support is declined.
- Charged twice. An error in our billing took payment two times for one period.
- A payment you never made. Your card was used without your permission, you tell us within 14 days of the charge, and the transaction details held by us and by the payment operator agree. A statement alone does not decide it. We may ask you to confirm that you reported the misuse to your card issuer.
- The tracker did not run at all. A fault we confirmed on our side stopped SerpsTracker completely for an unbroken stretch, you reported it while it was happening, and we could not restore it. Delayed checks, a single missed update, and problems with your own browser, network or inbox are not included.
An approved refund is capped at what you paid for the affected period, goes back only to the card that was charged, and is the whole of our liability for that charge. Getting one refund does not make a later one more likely.
How to ask
Email [email protected] from the address on your account within 14 days of the charge. Give the date and amount and say which of the three cases applies. Requests sent later, or from another address, are not reviewed. We work through them in the order they arrive and do not reopen a request once it has been answered.
Disputing the payment with your bank instead of writing to us first breaks our terms of service, and the account is then closed for good.
Stopping the next renewal
Plans renew on their own until you cancel. Cancelling from the billing screen needs no message to us and switches off every later renewal straight away. Your keywords keep being checked until the paid period ends. Cancelling is not a refund request.
A new period opens the moment the previous one ends, and its fee is due from that moment. If your card issuer declines the charge, the payment operator tries again over the following days. Those attempts collect the same unpaid invoice and are not extra charges. Cancelling after a period has begun stops the renewals after it but leaves the current invoice due, and a renewal collected late in this way is not refundable. Once the invoice is paid or written off, the attempts stop. To avoid a renewal, cancel before the date shown on your billing screen.
What we keep and how it is used
Creating an account means accepting the terms of service, which include this policy and the privacy policy. Before you pay, checkout shows the plan, the price, the billing period and the automatic renewal, and the confirmation email repeats them.
For each subscription we keep the time of purchase, the plan and price shown at checkout, your acceptance of the terms, the emails we sent you, and an activity log of the account: sign ins, sites and keywords added, reports opened and exports, with the technical details recorded at the time. The payment operator holds its own record of every charge, including the card's country, where the payment came from and the result of bank authentication such as 3D Secure.
These records are what an unauthorised charge claim is checked against. If a bank opens a dispute, we send it the same records.
Earlier purchases
A payment made before October 14, 2026 is handled under the terms that applied on the day it was made.
